Application
Designed for use by the power and telecommunications markets,
Emtelles Cable in Duct (CID) products are suitable for a wide range
of applications. These products are ideal for use in applications
where remote monitoring is required. (SCADA networks for exam-
ple).
Features and Benefits
With Emtelles CID products fibre optic cables are pre-installed into
sub-ducts and transported to site on standard sub-duct drums.
Deploying Emtelles CID offers several key advantages such as
shorter installation time, reduced logistics and improved quality due
to the elimination of cable pulling.
Due to the use of high quality Emtelle sub duct the CID solution is
ideally suited to installation via mole plough.
Technical Data
Below is Emtelles standard Cable in Duct (CID) range and the maximum OD of cable possible for the duct size.

  • 12. EMTELLE FIBRE OPTIC CABLES 12 ENGAGE.LISTEN.INNOVATE.DELIVER. Application Designed for use by the power and telecommunications markets, Emtelles Cable in Duct (CID) products are suitable for a wide range of applications. These products are ideal for use in applications where remote monitoring is required. (SCADA networks for exam- ple). Features and Benefits With Emtelles CID products fibre optic cables are pre-installed into sub-ducts and transported to site on standard sub-duct drums. Deploying Emtelles CID offers several key advantages such as shorter installation time, reduced logistics and improved quality due to the elimination of cable pulling. Due to the use of high quality Emtelle sub duct the CID solution is ideally suited to installation via mole plough. Technical Data Below is Emtelles standard Cable in Duct (CID) range and the maximum OD of cable possible for the duct size.
