Digital Domain
The interactive menu for Thor uses the software named Digital Domain, who have made a
number of films and games with their CGI software, as well as the creation of the Tupac
Shakur 'hologram' which was used for the Coachella music festival in 2012.

Cons of Digital Domain
- Not available to use for the public
RenderMan
The RenderMan software was used for Finding Nemo, as well as all of the other Disney/Pixar
movies.
Pros of RenderMan
- Quality is very good
- Best software for 3D shapes
- Available to use for the public
Cons of RenderMan
- Quite difficult to run
- Very expensive
If Digital Domain was available to the public, I would choose it over RenderMan for its sheer
realism when it comes to special effects. The CGI has an amazing quality and takes it to
another level when compared to its rivals.
