Cream) is Terbinafine Hydrochloride.

4. Generic Lamisil Cream
Indications
Fungal infections of the skin caused by
dermatophytes such as Trichophyton (e.g., T.
rubrum, T. mentagrophytes, T. verrucosum, T.
tonsurans, T. violaceum ), Microsporum canis and
Epidermophyton floccosum.
Yeast infections of the skin, principally those caused
by the genus Candida (e.g., Candida albicans ).
Pityriasis (tinea) versicolor, due to Pityrosporum
orbiculare (also known as Malassezia furfur ).

5. Generic Lamisil Cream
Dosage and Administration
Terbinafine HCl Cream (Terbicip Cream)
can be applied once or twice daily.
Cleanse and dry the affected
areas thoroughly before application of
Generic Lamisil cream. Apply the cream to
the affected skin and surrounding area in a
thin layer and rub in lightly.

6. Generic Lamisil Cream
Dosage and Administration
The likely durations of treatment are as
follows:
Tinea corporis, cruris: 1 to 2 weeks
Tinea pedis: 1 week
Cutaneous candidiasis: 2 weeks
Pityriasis versicolor: 2 weeks
Relief of clinical symptoms usually occurs
within a few days. Irregular use or premature
discontinuation of treatment carries the risk
of recurrence.

Missed Dose
If you forget an application, apply
some ointment as soon as you
remember.
However, if you remember when it is
almost time for your next dose, take
only your usual dose at that time.

Contraindications
Generic Lamisil Cream is
contraindicated in the following cases:
âKnown hypersensitivity to Terbinafine
Hydrochloride or any inactive ingredients of
this medication.

Storage Instructions
Generic Lamisil Cream (Terbicip Cream)
may be stored in a cool place (between
15°C and 30°C). Do not freeze. Keep
away from light.

Side Effects of Generic Lamisil
The most commonly reported side effects of
Generic Lamisil Cream (Terbicip Cream) are
Redness, itching, stinging that may occur at
the site of application.
These minor symptoms must be
distinguished from allergic reactions(e.g.
prutis, bullous eruptions, hives, widespread
rash and or redness, urticaria, angioedema,
or positive rechallenge) which are rare but
require discontinuation of the drug.

Warnings And Precautions
âKeep out of reach of children.
âAvoid contact with eyes. If contaminated, the eyes
should be thoroughly washed with water until the
ointment residues have been removed.
âTerbicip Cream is for external use only.
âGood general hygiene is necessary in conjunction
with the use of Generic Lamisil Cream in order to
prevent reinfection (e.g., from underwear, socks,
shoes, etc.).

12. Generic Lamisil Cream
Pregnancy and Lactation
Pregnancy:
Foetal toxicity and fertility studies in
animals suggest no adverse effects.
It should not be used during pregnancy
unless the potential benefits outweigh any
potential risks.
Lactation: Terbinafine HCl is excreted in
breast milk. However, with Generic Lamisil
Cream treatment, the small amounts
absorbed through the skin are unlikely to
affect the infant.
