Summer is here and while it’s a great time to be outdoors, the heat can be punishing for your horse. Thankfully there are a few things you can do to keep your horse cool this season. For starters, give your horse some frozen strips of carrots or apples. You can also sprinkle grains and nuts over an ice cube tray and then add them to his feed.
