Job Description
Looking for a graphic designer – a website, mobile app, and social media developer – to be responsible for creating and
proofing consumer travel website interfaces, mobile app interfaces, web/mobile advertising banners, landing pages,
microsites, email templates, direct mail campaigns, print advertising, infographics, drawings and illustrations, cartoons, and
other design and visualization deliverables as needed, along with being responsible [2H14] for maintaining website and
mobile app content management systems. Deliverables will include but not be limited to: drawings, graphic designs,
wireframes, comps and mock-ups, user interfaces, [development and coding of] individual brand websites, white [private]
label websites/mobile apps, web pages, social media profiles, and individual graphical elements. The candidate must
understand how to build user- and search-engine friendly products in line with current leading practices. Superior selfdiscipline, time management and project management skills are important to be successful in this role. Note that the team
is split between the ET and IT (ET +7) zones, and those who work M-F and S-R work weeks. The position reports directly to
the Vice President of Marketing.
Job Functions and Responsibilities:
Collaborate with Marketing, Development, Design, and other departments and colleagues to understand project
scopes, goals, and timeframes
Have a deep understanding of good design principles, and how effective design impacts copy- and user-friendliness to
drive conversion/sales
Design user interfaces for websites, mobile apps, marketing pages, email campaigns, web advertising banners, and
other online and offline marketing needs
Work in hand with Marketing to build new and improve existing web and mobile products. Must have strong drawing
skills, and experience with Photoshop, Fireworks, and/or equivalent application(s).
Create working websites from visual designs through HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
Convert raw images and layouts into CSS/XHTML themes
Work and communicate effectively with Tel Aviv-based development team to communicate functional requirements
throughout every phase of the design and development process
Review analytics and customer data to proactively recommend potential areas for improvement
Job Requirements:
BA in art or related field AND/OR BS in computer science or a related field, OR significant equivalent work experience
3 years minimum experience with HTML/XHTML and CSS
2 years minimum web programming experience, including PHP, ASP or JSP
Strong portfolio of web development, mobile app development, print advertising, graphic and web design
Advanced knowledge and experience with Photoshop, HTML, CSS and Java Script
Advanced knowledge and experience with CMS
Superior project management and time management skills
Conduct, build, support and QA white label websites and mobile apps
Experience developing and implementing open source software projects
Self-starter, organized with strong self-management skills
Good attention to detail and quality assurance
Initiating new ideas and thriving for better results and efficiency
Ability to organize and manage multiple priorities
Creative thinker, diligent, flexible, reliable
