Heather Schubert and Carolyn Foote from Eanes ISD presented on apps for school librarians at TCEA 2013. They demonstrated apps for library management tasks like circulation and online catalogs. They also showed apps for instruction, projects, book promotion, citations, research, and classroom use including apps for QR codes, book reviews, brainstorming, polling, and digital bookmarks. The presentation was intended to highlight useful apps and resources for K-12 school librarians.
