December 21 2012 End Times? There have been many predictions and speculations about the
significance of this date. Not only is it the ending date of the Mayan Calendar, it has also been
prophesied by many to be the end of the world. Many believe that this date will start a long list of
catastrophic events ultimately ending life as we know it today. Others believe this will be the
beginning of an enlightenment to mankind. Whatever the case, fear is the first thing that comes to
my mind.
The Mayans were ancient peoples who lived in Mesoamerica. They had an extraordinary gift when
it came to mathematics and astronomy. They had 3 calendars.

* 260-Day Ritual Year Calendar
* 5128-Years Of The World Time Calendar
All 3 of these calendars end on December 21, 2012. So now everyone is asking what the
significance of this is. As this date looms closer, more fear is instilled in the citizens of the world.
There have also been predictions by Nostradamus and Edgar Cayce. These two men were
considered the best prophets/psychics in the world.
Nostradamus believed the world would either be hit by a comet planet or have a near miss with
one. This would cause worldwide panic which would start the beginning of World War III.
Edgar Cayce believed that there would be a magnetic pole shift that would cause the polarity of
the earth to reverse. If this were to happen, mass chaos would erupt. There would be catastrophic
events that would occur such as: earthquakes, hurricanes, tornadoes and tsunamis. He believed
this would ultimately be the end of mankind.
Regardless of what we believe, the possibilities are endless.
