All right, so here we have MobiWee running on the Droid, which runs Android 2.0but MobiWee can run on Android 1.1, 1.5, or 1.6It’s important to make sure that you downloadthe MobiWee App that corresponds to the version of Android running on your phone for MobiWee to work correctly. So assuming you’ve downloaded and installed MobiWee on your Droid, this is what you’ll see when you run the MobiWee app. You can see that there are 5 buttons on the main page: Send and Receive, Always Connected, Settings, About, and Exit.
Now by default, the MobiWee app runs in the background and syncs however often you tell it to, but let’s say you’ve just sent yourself a ringtone or word document that you want to see right away, you can hit Send and Receive instead of waiting or always connected so there’s never a lag.
If we hit Settings, we see a space for username, password, and mobile number. The thing to remember here is to include the country code when you put in your phone number; for the US that just means adding a 1 before the area code.
Enabling Autosync just means you want it to sync every 5 minutes or other interval. Enabling SMS Reporting means you’d like MobiWee to keep a log of all received/sent SMS messages from now on.Enable phone state reporting means you’d like MobiWee to keep track of all your missed calls, incoming/outgoing calls, and voicemails. It will be displayed as a phone number with a timestamp of when the call was made or missed. To save your settings, click on the “Menu” button and “Save Settings” to finish
