1. Does technology help you save time or make you waste it?
Technology has taken part as a really important way of evolution in our
lives since ever. We have grown up with it since we were little and we
are still living together and it can be a distraction or even a useful tool.
However, there are arguments both for and against it.
One of the main advantages is that thanks to mobile phones, for
example, you can keep in touch with any friend you had and who is far
away from you, or even if something happened to you and you need
help or you need something, you can call anyone you like and ask him
for it. Another argument in favour of technology is that the internet also
helps you if you want to search for something, for instance if you have to
do a project about "The Boston Tea Party", you only need to look for it on
the internet and then you are suppose to find a lot of information about
it.
On the other hand, technology also makes you waste your time
because of programmed obsolescence which help the technology to
break up more easily, and it means that you have to take care of it
every time and protect all your technology system, so it wouldn't break
too easily. Moreover, the internet is a kind of addiction and it makes you
keep looking at things which can attract your attention, but which are
not necessarily important.
To sum up, I believe that technology is useful for us because we can
became more intelligent and more confident with ourselves if we learn
how to use these innovations in a good way because if we abuse of it,
we will become lazier and we would be addicted to it and this wouldn't
be useful for our evolution.
