2. NEET
• The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test or
NEET-UG is a entrance examination in India,
for students who wish to study any graduate
medical course (MBBS), dental course (BDS) or
postgraduate course (MD / MS) in government
or private medical colleges in India.NEET-UG
(Undergraduate), for MBBS and BDS courses,
will be conducted by the Central Board of
Secondary Education (CBSE).

3. NEET-Pattern and criteria
• NEET 2016 Eligibility Criteria
NEET 2016 eligibility criteria will be remaining same as was in
AIPMT 2016 examination according to the information of the
official sources.
• NEET 2016 Examination Pattern
• It is a Pen & Paper Based exam.
• Language of Paper of the exam will be English or Hindi
• Multiple choice questions with one right answer will be
asked.
• Number of Questions will be 180

4. NEET-Syllabus

• The question paper for the examination will be based
on a common syllabus notified by the Medical Council
of India, from physics, chemistry and biology subjects.

• NEET 2016 Seat Reservation Criteria
• Scheduled Caste (SC) — 15%
• Scheduled Tribe (ST) — 7.5 %
• OBC (Non Creamy Layer) — 27%
• PH (Physically Handicapped) — 3% Seats on
horizontal basis
• NEET 2016 Marking Process
• +4 marks are given for each correct response.
• -1 mark is subtracted for wrong response
