2. Generating an Event Log

The event log is a record of all
errors and events for all System
Clients being monitored by the
System Area Manager and
reporting up to Site Manager.
You can view the Event Log on
screen by pressing the Generate
HTML button or export by
pressing the Generate XML
button. You can view a specific
site or all sites being managed.
You can modify the Event Log
output by choosing from the
filtering options.
To view the event log:
– Choose the Site or Sites
– Period of Time or Date range
– Filtering options – these change
depending upon the event types
chosen

3. Viewing an Event Log
• The event logs will be
shown on screen 20 events
per page. You can sort by
clicking on the column
headings. Choose the page
number to move to that
page of events.

4. Filtering
• You can also view event logs
for a single machine, specified
by IP address. This option
does not appear when multiple
sites are selected.
