The IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy in Nainital was setup with the collaboration of Govt. of Uttarakhand &
Microsoft & Kumaon University with the aim to train the students on the latest Microsoft Technologies, so that

Microsoft and Kumaon University . The academy uses the best in its class infrastructure, with the latest hardware

Admission Policies

∑ Intelligent, ethical, articulate and active individuals with a will to upgrade their skills are
encouraged to pursue the IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy program.

∑ The applicant has to submit a completed application along with relevant enclosures to
the IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy within the due date. If the application is complete in all
respects and IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy is satisfied with the applicant’ eligibility and
s
suitability for admission to that program. The IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy reserves the
right to accept or reject any application

∑ If the applications received from the students are not complete in any respect, those
students may be given provisional enrolment at the IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy
discretion. Such students will have to submit the required eligibility documents as
communicated by the IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy at the earliest, upon receipt of which
their enrolment will be confirmed subject to the eligib ility fulfillment. Provisionally
enrolled students will be allowed to appear in the examinations only after their
enrolment is confirmed.

∑ An identity card will be provided to the students after their enrolments in the program.
It will be mandatory to disp lay the same all time during which student is in the IPSDR -
Microsoft IT academy campus.

∑ Application form can be obtained from IPSDR -Microsoft IT Academy on cash payment of Rs 400,

1. The examinations will be organized by the Kuma on University and examination schedule will
be provided by IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy as per University rules .

2. Students will have to submit the Examination forms along with the examination fee Rs.____ _
cash payment at IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy counter.

3. The medium of examination shall be English.

4. Admission card will be issued by IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy to all eligible students .

5. All successful students of respective Degree/Diploma/ Certificate Program wil l be awarded
the respective Degree/Diploma/ Certificate by the Kuma on University.

6. An additional certificate of Achievement will be given by Microsoft IT academy to all
successful students.

7. Students can take online exams of respective papers and get certi fication at their on cost.

8. All the rules and regulations of Kumaon University, IPSDR will be application to students on
IPSDR-Microsoft IT Academy.

Mark’ and Grading

The student should secure at least 40% marks in Practical and Project work, and 40% in theory exam. Based on
the student’ performance the following grading system will be adopted.

∑ B = Very Good (+60% )

∑ C = Good (+50%)

∑ D = Satisfactory (+40%)
