iPod
• Use iTunes to “rip” or “copy” music from your CDs to your computer; then “sync”
or transfer to iPod; and burn discs
• Download eAudiobooks in MP3 format from NC Digital Library (not WMA)
• Use OverDrive Media to transfer eAudiobooks to iPod by selecting “Manually
Manage Music” in iTunes or move eAudiobook file from media folder into iTunes
• Purchase songs/albums from iTunes, Amazon, Wal-Mart, and other online stores
Zune
• Use Zune application to “rip” or “copy” music from your CDs to your computer
then transfer to Zune device; and burn discs
• Download eAudiobooks in MP3 or WMA format from NC Digital Library
• Transfer eAudiobooks to Zune using OverDrive Media transfer function
• Purchase songs from a variety of online stores
Other MP3 Players
• Use Windows Media Player (free) to “rip” or “copy” music from your CDs to your
computer; then “sync” or transfer to MP3 player; and burn discs
• Download eAudiobooks in MP3 or WMA format from NC Digital Library
• Transfer eAudiobooks to MP3 player using OverDrive Media transfer function or
use Windows Media Player (click and drag for Music List to “sync” list)
• Purchase songs from a variety of online stores
• Think of MP3 player as a flash drive
