This document describes the International Level 6th YoungBull$ Money Challenge, a competition to teach high school students money management skills. Competition for class 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 & 12th class students, to train them in money management.
Everyone needs money. From rich businessmen to ordinary people – everyone needs money. When
handling money, we all make mistakes, small and big. From small mistakes, we recover quickly, learn a
lesson in life and move on. But big mistakes leave us wounded badly.
Handling money wisely is not easy. It is an important Life Skill. It is a Life Skill on which our very
survival depends. Haven’t we heard of people committing suicide because of mounting debts?
In today’s economic scenario, with inflation going up day-by-day, it is important that we teach our
children to save money from a young age and secure their future.
Today,
• Children have more money in their hands. They don’t appreciate the value of money or the hard
work that goes in making it.
• They spend most of their time with iPads, iPhones, laptops, mobiles and in social sites like
facebook, YouTube etc. without understanding the problems that go with it.
• Also, in most families both parents work. They earn more money but have less time on hands
to spend with children and guide them in using money wisely.
Any Futuristic Educational Programme today will be incomplete without a training on Money
Management. It is the first step in preparing students for the real world.
What is YoungBull$ Money Challenge? It is an educational programme to train high
school students in better money management. It is designed in the form of a competition, so as to
make it fun and interesting for students.
What does it do? Students are taught the basics of handling money wisely, the importance of saving,
the why, where, when of saving money, the role of banks, the importance of investing, safety
measures to practice in ATMs, online banking, online security, do’s & don’ts of investing, basic
concepts of shares, mutual funds, insurance etc.
How? We provide a workbook called “MoneySkills for Life” to ALL enrolled students which
explains, in simple language, the basics of money management. The workbook has lessons,
worksheets, activities, stories, examples etc which teach Everyday Finance in a fun way to students.
Who does the teaching? The students read on their own, as the workbook is very interesting with
stories and real life examples. There are activities which the students do with their parents, at home.
Hence, most of the learning is done at home with parents acting as guides, explaining their family
money habits and discussing the lessons with children. Each family is unique and has its own
spending behaviour and financial needs. Parents are the best teachers to kids about money issues in
their families! (Parents love this programme and call us to request for more events!)

3. REGISTRATION DETAILS
How to Apply:
Send the details of participating students along with a single consolidated DD for the registration fee.
1. The registration fee is Rs.180 per student. ALL registered students receive a Workbook which
takes the child into a guided tour about the money matters in life. It is also an eye-opener for
many parents.
2. The school is entitled to retain Rs.20 per registration towards administration expenses. (i.e.
School to send Rs.160 per student)

We know that the job of teachers and principal today, is a high pressure one - what with handling
the pressures of the ever-changing curricula, technological advancements in education, managing
the system, the directions from govt./management, keeping up with the tight schedules and
handling thousands of students and parents. We know the value of your time. To save you time
and effort, we have kept the procedure very simple!
Step 1: You enroll your students for this competition by sending the list of students and the
registration fee to us.
Step 2: As per your list of students, we send the workbooks to your school. The workbooks are
specific to each standard/class. As the class level goes up, the lessons get more detailed and
elaborate.
Step 3: After 4-6 weeks, (time for students to go through the lessons and activities), the exam will
be conducted in your school to test the student’s knowledge on handling money. Test booklets will
be sent to you before the exam date. You will be conducting the exam in your school and then
sending back the test booklets to us for evaluation.
