History Acid rain was first found in Manchester , England . In 1852, Robert Angus Smith found the relationship between acid rain and atmospheric pollution.

Definition The term "acid rain" is commonly used to mean the deposition of acidic components in rain, snow, fog, dew, or dry particles.

What is Acid Rain!!!!!!? When fossil fuel such as coal , gasoline & fuel oil are burned they emit oxides of sulphur , carbon & nitrogen into the air . These oxides combined with moisture in the air to form sulphuric acid , carbonic acid & nitric acid. When it rains or snows the acid are brought to earth is Acid Rain .
