Proventis Partners – a short profile

We are specialists for Buy- and Sell-side M&A and Corporate Finance transactions. We have developed a deep
appreciation of how M&A and Corporate Finance challenges have to be mastered at mid-cap public companies in various
industry sectors. All partners are qualified through a combination of their own entrepreneurial experience and rich
professional know-how. Our team consists of 6 partners and approximately 15 employees in Zurich, Munich and
Hamburg. We have been engaged in more than 100 transactions and completed projects with a transaction volume of
more than 3.5 billion CHF during the last 10 years.


Proventis Partners is retained by clients who are:
► in a transformation phase (new strategy, succession, sale, restructuring, growth/invest, internationalization,
   management by out (MBO), etc.);
► private or public mid cap companies or private equity companies with call for M&A or Corporate Finance action;
► start-up or high growth companies with a demand for external funding.


Proventis Partners in Zurich, Switzerland:
Our partners all have broad sectoral experience as well as deep knowledge of M&A and Corporate Finance processes,
both national and cross-border. They all have more than 10 years of M&A and Corporate Finance track record.


                                         Teun de Ven, born 1962, has managed, structured and completed many
                                          M&A transactions for various company sizes and industry branches.
                                          He has been in the M&A-Industry for more than 12 years.
                                          Prior to founding Proventis Partners Ltd he was part of senior management
                                          at Jacobs Holding where he repositioned a number of subsidiaries. Prior to
                                          that he managed successfully Swisscom Retail as Head of Residential
                                          Customers.
                                          He started his career as management consultant at St. Gallen Consulting
                                          Group.
                                          He studied business administration at the University of St. Gallen and earned
                                          his master degree with distinction in 1988. (lic.oec. HSG).




                                       ● Dr. Christoph Studinka, born 1961, collected more than 10 years M&A
                                          experience with a solid track record of transactions for corporations as well
                                          as for owner-run mid cap companies. One step in his career was Head
                                          Corporate Development at Sulzer Ltd. and member of the Corporate
                                          Development Team of OC Oerlikon.
                                          Christoph Studinka has been part of management at industrial corporations
                                          like Sulzer, Wartsila Diesel and OC Oerlikon.
                                          He was also a management consultant at Arthur D. Little during 8 years and
                                          worked in Belgium Germany and Switzerland.
                                          He studied Business Administration at the University of St. Gall where he
                                          also earned his doctors degree (Dr.oec. HSG) with distinction.

● Peter Trinkl, born 1962, was an independent management consultant and
                                           interims manager before he joined Proventis Partners.
                                           He was engaged in top management positions at Swisscom, Orange, VEBA,
                                           Siemens and Cablecom. Peter Trinkl has strong expertise and industry-
                                           affinity to TIME (Telecom, Internet, Entertainment, Media).
                                           Peter Trinkl is also acting as Venture Advisor to Earlybird, a well known
                                           Venture Capital fund based in Germany.
                                           He holds a Master of Science degree (Dipl.-Ing.) in electrical engineering and
                                           technical Information science from the Technical University of Munich,
                                           Germany and has studied economics in St. Gallen and Harvard.
