• Why explore who you are as a learner?
As a result of exploring who I am as a learner I understand how I get and process
information in a way that makes it easy not hard to remember and use it so I can become
a better learner, understand other learn different from me, also how to work with my
professors and learn from their different teaching styles.
• What tools will help you assess how you learn and interact with others?
There are many tools that are available to me that can help me learn and interact with
others. These tools are called assessment text. The two most common are:
A) Multiple Pathways to learning
B) Personality Spectrum
Consisting of eight areas
1-BODYLY-KINESTHETIC
2-VISIUAL-SPATIAL
3-MUSICAL
4-INTERPERSONAL
5-VERBAL-LINGUISTIC
6-LOGICAL-MATHEMATICAL
7-INTRAPERSONAL
8-NATUALISTIC
• How can you use your self-knowledge?
Self-knowledge will hell you figure out if you are a Thinker, Giver, Organizer, or
Adventure. You will have a clear picture of your weaknesses and/or strength, what you
can do, what class to take, how to study, which career is good for you, what major to
choose, witch teaching style will be best for your success, and how to get alone with
others.
2. • How can you identify and manage learning disabilities?
If you feel you have a disability and might need an evaluation you need to get a referral
from your schools learning center or student health center. You can identify and manage
learning disabilities by first getting an evaluation from a licensed professional then find
out different strategies you can use for improvement, ask for help, be dedicated and have
a positive attitude.
