7. Leadership, Asia Pacific Rod Bailey, CEO (London) Rod is 43 years old and has spent most of his career creating or investing in innovation in the executive search sector. Rod’s current directorships include Rochester Partnership, Pattern House, Lisvane Systems amongst others. His previous experience includes SpeedEgg, early stage venture fund belonging to Syntek Capital and Nicholson International, an executive search firm which he co-founded, expanding to global proportions over 10 years. Steve Johnson (Sydney) Operations Lead APAC Steve is 43 years old and based in Sydney. Steve began his search career in 1996 with global search firm, Nicholson International. He founded Johnson Approach in 2004, winning and delivering senior retained assignments across Australia, SE Asia, and China. Prior to 1996 Steve worked with Sanofi Aventis (Fisons) in the UK, and Bayer Schering and Telstra in Australia. William Stockley (Shanghai) GM China & Regional Head APAC William has held a number of senior executive roles for companies such as Cadbury Schweppes and Glaxo SmithKline in C & E Europe, Japan, and from 1998, China. He has recently run several projects for companies on their China strategies, to evaluate opportunity, identify partners, structure new business models, recruit new management, and facilitate organisation change.
