• The history of mountain climbing is started
form Europe. In 19th century mountain
climbing began to be regarded as a sport in
Europe.

• At the first time Sir Edmund Percival Hillary from New Zealand
and Tenzing Norgay, a Sherpa from Nepal, on 29 May 1953
climbed Mt. Everest successfully.

48. • The first woman to climb Mount Everest was
Junko Tabei, who reached the summit in 1975.

49. • Jordan Romero, an American climber is the
youngest person to summit the mountain as
of 2011. He was 13 when he reached the top.

50. • Min Bahadur Shrestha from Nepal is the Oldest
Person who submit the Mt Everest In the age of 76.

first blind climber to summit Mount Everest
