Legacy Awards Past:
DJ Grandmaster Dee aka DJ Drew Carter – Known as the third member of the highly successful group, Whodini, and for
his ability to scratch records with nearly every part of his body, DJ Grandmaster Dee has been one of the leading pioneers
of hip-hop music. For more than 30 years, Grandmaster Dee has laid the foundation which has allowed rap and hip-hop
to become the genre it is today. DJ Grandmaster Dee continues his work outside of Whodini through several community
service programs and outlets including Scratch DJ Academy and P.A.T.H., a summer camp that teaches the essentials of
hip-hop culture.
DJ CutCreator – Known as the right hand man and DJ for LL Cool J, CutCreator has been a staple in the hip-hop commu-
nity for more than two decades. With countless tours, successful albums, more on his list of accomplishments, DJ CutCre-
ator has one of the longest and most successful careers not only in rap history, but music itself.
Legacy Award Present:
DJ Drama – Since the early 2000’s, Drama has pioneered a name for himself and the Aphilliates. Having worked with
some of the biggest names in music, Drama has released three highly successful studio albums and countless well-re-
ceived mixtapes. With his successful radio empire, albums, mixtapes, and tours, Drama has been a lead driving force in the
field of deejaying today.

7. Future Legacy Award:
DJ Scream – DJ Scream of Hoodrich ENT and Maybach Music Group has built quite a name for himself. Having worked
with some of the most respected upcoming and established musicians today, and with the success of his highly respected
company Hoodrich, Scream continues to break barriers. In 2011, Scream secured a deal with Rick Ross & Maybach Music
Group, under which he is set to release his debut album, Long Live the Hustle. With a team of over 15 DJs, a record deal in
tow, and his debut album on the way, DJ Scream has become the leader of the ‘new gang’, having already created a new
avenue for upcoming DJs and artists alike.
DJ’s Choice Award:
Presented by IDJ MP3 Blast – The DJ’s Choice Award is one of the newest honors to be added to the IDJ Awards. Pow-
ered by IDJ MP3 Blast, the DJ’s Choice Award honors 5 of music’s top artists where DJs vote for their favorite artist of the
current year.
The International Creative Entertainer (ICE) Award:
DJ Princess Cut – DJ Princess Cut is the first and only female DJ in the Hoodrich DJ camp and has already toured and
worked with some of entertainment’s biggest names including The-Dream, Cee-Lo Green, and Goodie Mob. In
addition, DJ Princess Cut was the only female to compete in BET’s ‘Master of the Mix’ competition, to which she gained
rave reviews. Today, she continues to create new avenues to share her craft, as she also serves as the official DJ for Nei-
man Marcus.
Fan’s Choice Award:
Presented by IDJ Now– The Fan’s Choice Award is one of the newest additions to the International Disc Jockey Awards
lineup. Powered by IDJ NOW, the Fan’s Choice Award honors five of music’s top DJs, as voted by fans themselves.
OG Award:
Ice-T – The OG Award is presented to those who have been responsible for paving a lane of their own despite the circum-
stance and obstacles that one must face. Ice-T has proven with longevity that he has exactly what it takes to be donned an
‘OG’, repositioning and recreating himself to smoothly transition from a career as rap artist, to a successful actor, and now,
reality tv star.
