Ms. Yi-Ting Liao has asked me to write this letter in support of her application for Senior Account Executive
or Account Manager in your company.
I offered Ms. Liao her previous job in March 2010. In the nearly two years of our professional relationship, I
saw her to be an enthusiastic and progressive young woman with great potential. Ms. Liao performed
exceptionally well as a project leader. I never had any reason to doubt her outstanding performance and
excellent professionalism. She did a wonderful job and always provided her customers with friendly,
professional service. She is one of the best project leaders I have ever worked with. She is quick to learn,
good at solving difficult problems, and has strong perseverance. Ms. Liao’s contribution to this company is
praiseworthy. I am very glad to find that my decision to employ her proved to be the correct one.
Ms. Liao handled her customers in our company very well – including Coca-Cola, MasterCard, Acuvue,
William Grant & Sons Ltd (Glenfiddich / Balvenie / Hendrick’s / Sailor Jerry), Taiwan Beer, CHIMEI, and
other industrial brands as well. She did very well in varied events, media conferences, exhibitions, concerts,
sales and channel promotions, annual parties and call centres for fulfilment. Her performance with these
customers earned her the trust of her superiors.
Coordination skills are a must in this industry and Ms. Liao excelled in this area. She always performed with
maturity and showed an ability to communicate and arrange the many tasks under pressure and in stressful
situations. I have witnessed her professional growth, from a young hardworking junior staff member to one
who is mature and confident in all her business dealings. I also know that she was brave to work abroad in
China for another two and half years, leading more and larger-scale projects and broadening her vision. I
believe she has advanced her skills and abilities. Moreover, she has improved her knowledge and art sense
through her Masters degree – Design Management – in Lancaster University, and I can say she is now more
than qualified for the position she seeks.
I have full confidence in her abilities, and in many instances I have been extremely impressed by her
performance. Ms. Liao’s responsible manner and personal characteristics have earned her my trust and that
of all the internal managers. She is an excellent team leader and always has everything well planned.
