1. Wassily Kandinsky (1866-1944)

2. Kandinsky was a Russian painter. He was an art explorer who wasn’t afraid to try new things that other people hadn’t done before- kind of like Vashty’s dots.

4. Much of Kandinsky’s art is made up of simple shapes, colors and line.

5. Kandinsky was inspired by music and listened to it while he painted. One can almost “see” and “feel” the music when looking at some of his paintings.

6. These are Kandisnky’s “dots”… how are they like Vashty’s? How are they different?
