The document discusses components for analyzing OLAP systems using Mondrian. It proposes developing components for cube inventory, MDX-based querying, drag-and-drop non-MDX querying, and an ActionScript library to communicate with Mondrian via SOAP and XMLA. Results of testing this architecture showed it was capable of obtaining cube metadata and executing queries across different clients.
