RCS is being developed by GSMA as a common communication standard that will allow rich messaging across all device platforms and carriers using only one application. It has the potential to be adopted as widely as SMS by supporting a wide range of features like text, photos, video and presence sharing while only requiring users to learn one platform. Solaiemes is working on an RCS Solution Gateway and thin client technologies to help make RCS ubiquitous and allow integration with third party services and access through browsers.
