Social Frontier :: What's on The Social Marketing Menu :: Wendy Meadley :: Social Wendy Group :: Social Frontier 2010
The beginning of 2010 has been a busy time in the newly blended world of Social Media and Mobile Marketing as we continue to create innovative social marketing strategies into client web development and marketing plans. We know that the balance of 2010 will continue to focus on the rapidly escalating Mobile Marketing space and that Geo Location and Real Time will transition from Trend and Buzz Word status to day in and out marketing tactics and social conversation strategies to further engage the new social consumer.
We are excited about the rest of 2010 as we have some exciting social events, Foursquare campaigns, and advanced social strategies in place with our clients that will truly pay off in ROI for them yet this year. We continue to build our library of social campaign case studies with real life examples of the good and the challenges- our Social Media Boot Camp agency clients get to see the unabridged version complete with screen captures and surrounding social pr tactics.
The Social Wendy Group&trade has uniquely positioned itself in the social media space since 2005 by deepening our social and mobile marketing expertise, creating innovative and award winning campaigns for our clients and their causes. We continue to be on the edge of the Social Frontier&trade with our strategies, social event production and web development initiatives- just ask our Fortune 500, agency & industry thought leader clients.

Peggy Lauritsen Design Group Wins 2010 AIGA Design Show Award for “Wired for 2020” Identity Design
Early in 2009, the Social Wendy Group created and produced the Wired for 2020 Project for the Mentoring Partnership of Minnesota to support the promotion of connecting mentors with youth mentees throughout mentor organizations in Minnesota. The campaign had an important goal of raising awareness of the need for mentors and to provide a new conversation that mentors could have with mentees focused on their future. Getting them “Wired for 2020” when they would be part of the workforce in careers that don’t even exist today.
“When the Mentoring Partnership initially defined their goals to me, I knew we would need to create an elaborate conceptual backbone to build the design upon, so we focused on interest areas that would spark the imaginations of both the mentors and mentees and focus them on a shared future goal.”
“Partnering with Peggy Lauritsen’s team was a natural for us as we are collaborators and virtual partner team builders on every project. When we spoke with their team, they were excited about how they would be able to translate the vision into the various vehicles we needed- web development, event design, social media and print.”
