Perio-Esthetic Case
• Abstract: The complete aesthetic rehabilitation of
dentition can be complicated task.A
multidisciplinary approach is often necessary to
achieve ideal results. Clinical crown lengthening
surgery can develop an aesthetic soft tissue
profile and sufficient tooth structure for
preparation and restoration.In addition,the
development of novel all-ceramic zirconia
materials has resulted in the delivery of
improved aesthetics,function and longevity.

3. • Case presentation:Patient reported to the clinic
for smile designing.
• Preoperative clinical findings:
1.Anterior bridge over 12,11 &21
2.Cervical caries & discolored composite filling in
22
3.23 was rotated & sligthly buccally placed.
4.On removal of anterior bridge,root stumps of
12,11 & 21seen.13,22&23 were carious.
5.Radiographic findings: 12,11&21 were already
R.C treated with periapical radiolucency.Deep
caries in 13,22&23 involving the pulp.

4. Step wise treatment:
Repeat root canal treatment of
12,11&21done.Root canal treatment of
13,22&23 done.
Cast core build up for 12,11,21&22 done
with temporaries given from13to 23

6. This was followed by crown lengthening from 13 to23
region.New temporaries were given after 8 days to get
appropriate gingival contour.

After 6weeks crown preparation was modified and final
impression for zirconia crowns was taken.Zirconia crowns were
delivered from 13 to23.

7. This was followed by crown lengthening from 13 to23
region.New temporaries were given after 8 days to get
