Man made waterfalls are a great way to bring one of natures greatest treasures into your backyard.
Boulder Waterfalls add sound, motion and vitality to your landscape – all while increasing the value of
your property. The ClifRock Panel System allows homeowners to build a remarkably realistic boulder
waterfall efficiently, economically and with minimal property disruption.
Waterfalls in Nature
Combining earth, stone, running water and gravity – waterfalls are one of natures most stunning and
enchanting features. The most impressive of these waterfalls often cascade over large boulders. While
waterfalls are often found far from civilization, people have tried to build homes on landscapes that
incorporate naturally occurring waterfalls for generations.
Pond – there are several
types of ponds, from water
gardens to koi ponds. Typical
construction is either poured
concrete or rubber liner.
Pond-less water features
typically have a stone base
with an underground catch
basin that recirculates water.
Pool water features commonly
tap into filtration system and
recirculate pool water through
pump mechanism.

4. Running Boulder – Typically smaller
features with one or two boulders. Ideal for
patio water features, koi ponds and pondless
water features.
Cascading Boulders - Multiple
boulders designed to have water descend
over a series of boulders. Cascading
Boulder Waterfalls are great for large
water features, ponds and pools.
Ledge Waterfall – Characterized by
water that descends vertically, making little
to no contact with rock structure. Ledge
waterfall offers a more intense sound, great
for commercial features.
Boulder Mountain
Waterfall – Large panel rock
structure that may have a series of
waterfalls one after another that will
eventually plunge into a large pond or
pool. Commonly a pool water slide or
cave/grotto feature will be built into a
Boulder Mountain Waterfall.
