When it comes to a show I always look for something lighthearted. In my opinion the best shows
are the ones that are funny, a bit relatable, have great character development, and overall just
uplift your spirits. Shows like this are hard to come by; there are some old ones that I ve come to
enjoy such as Friends and The Office, but lately I have yet to find a show that fits my normal
preferences. I have spent months watching Friends over and over again, but that gets boring after a
while, so I decided to step out of my comfort zone and find a show I wouldn t usually watch. I
decided to try American Horror Story completely aware that it doesn t fit into what I normally

I Interviewed A Former Babysitter Of Mine
For this assignment, I interviewed a former babysitter of mine, DL. DL is 25 years old and is
deaf. She has a hearing aid and a cochlear implant. I reached out to her on Facebook and asked her
if I could interview her for the assignment; I sent her the list of questions and she sent the answers
back to me.
She does not remember noticing that she couldn t hear; her guess is that her hearing loss was
from birth and very gradual, so she never noticed and thought it was normal as a kid. Her parents
noticed something was off by the age of 3 she had a severe language delay, didn t do well with

There are many life issues and affairs people have to adapt too while maturing and growing up.
These could include: learning about what kind of person they aspire to be, where they have the
desire to live, or what it s like to pay bills. Yet, when and where does one learn to digest all this
information? Certainly not in the American educationsystem. Research suggests that Leon Botstein
s claim rules of high school are not the rules of life and that schools need to bring more real world
into them is true and that the American educational system needs to be revised and refined.
Bostein s idea of intensifying real world issues/situations in young pupils learning experience would
prepare them for the future. To demonstrate, Diane Ravitch a former Assistant Secretary of
Education and research professor of education at New York University says that We want to prepare
them for a useful life... Think for themselves when they are in the real world (Source 5). The author
s idea here is parallel to Bostein s idea that the real world needs to get involved with the schools
now. Students wouldn t just be learning math or history classes that they might not use extensively
in the future. Students would instead be getting hands on experience to see what they like or may
not like to have a successful future. Additionally, Todd Gilton, an author and university professor,
states that students are Ill prepared to learn and that A strong liberal arts curriculum could teach
them about their history, their social condition, themselves (Source 2). He helps the readers see that
the American education is not setup properly and that there should be an adjustment in curriculum.
Gitlin suggests that educators should focus less on the math and sciences, although those are
pertinent, and put more focus on real world situations. These situations could include bills, jobs,
etc. He helps the reader picture what a strong liberal arts curriculum would do for the pupils future:
it would allow them to get a grasp on what they appreciate and what they want to do in the future to

first define all the terms involved in classifying groups as freedom fighters. Once these concepts
are defined, one can attempt to define what the term freedom fighter means and use that definition
as a basis for classifying groups as terrorists or freedom fighters. The classical definition of a
freedom fighter according to the Miriam Webster Dictionary is a person who takes part in a

You may be looking for the perfect spot for a summer vacation for your family. If so, Arkansas
has fifty two state parks that offer a variety of recreation and entertainment options. These state
parks play a vital role in the historical education of our great state. A few of the options include;

In this paper I am going to discuss the differences between the Humoral concept of disease, the
anatomical theory of disease, the germ theory of disease and the differences between each theory. I
am also going to look at the historical significance of these theories and how they apply to health
and wellness in today s health care. The humoral theory comes from an ancient Greek theory that

The fundamental concept of this theory states that microorganisms can invade the body and
cause certain diseases or even death. Before this theory was accepted many people believed that
a disease was a punishment for a person s evil behavior not a medical problem. These three
theories differ because they all covered different barriers when it came to treating and
understanding diseases. The Humoral theory began with the four elements and the anatomical
theory allowed us to take a deeper look into the functioning of the bodies systems. This helped us
to learn what was happening in the body, in the body systems and in the organs. Without these

next theory. If we would not have had the germ theory we would not have discovered the need

scientist to discover not only how to cure some disease but also how to prevent diseases from

Pros And Cons Of International Family Planning
Before reading chapter 8 I had no idea what international family planning really was, and I have a
feeling I m not the only one who didn t. I believe that if most people knew what internationally
family planning was and what it really meant then then there would be a lot more people angry
with the decision to stop all funding to UNFPA. This organization does so much for everyone
around the world like, advises governments on family planning, reducing poverty, reproductive
health, and many other ways. The United States apparently stopped funding this program because it
supposedly supports or participates in the management of a program of coercive abortion or
involuntary sterilization . The UNFPA actually posted a statement on their official website denying
the claim and stating that all of its work promotes the human rightsof individuals and couples to
make their own decisions, free of coercion or discrimination . I don t think people or even the
president knows how negative of an impact denying future funds to the UNFPA is going to effect
the world. I believe that if our president Donald Trump had taken the time to learn about UNFPA
and what they stand for then maybe he wouldn t have stopped all funding. This decision has made
not only the women within the United States feel like they don t have a say in their reproductive
rightsbut, it also makes it look like we don t care about the reproductive rights of any woman in any
