Regular expressions allow us to create patterns to match, locate, and manage text. The RegEx Builder wizard helps build regular expressions for the IsMatch, Matches, and Replace activities. These activities allow validating text, searching for all matches of a pattern in a string, and replacing matches with replacement text. The UiPath packages for these activities must be version 19.4.1 or higher.

2. Regular Expressions
• A Regular Expression is a string of text that allows us to create
patterns that help match, locate, and manage text.
• Eg: a-zA-Z0-9 in the REGEX just means that any lower case alphabet
character from "a to z" is acceptable, as well as capital letters "A to Z"
and the numbers "0 to 9".

3. RegEx Builder Wizard
• The RegEx Builder wizard is created to ease our process of building
and testing Regular Expression search criteria.
• The RegEx Builder wizard can be opened from the body of any of the
three activities IsMatch, Matches, and Replace, by clicking
the Configure Regular Expression button.
• This wizard helps us build the regular expressions we want to use for
any of the three activities.

• Package UiPath.System.Activities must be installed.
• Package version for the activity should be v19.4.1 or higher.

6. The IsMatch Activity
• Indicates whether the specified regular expression finds a match in
the specified input string, using the specified matching options.
• Used for validation purpose
• Mostly useful when validating Email and text in documents.

• Searches an input string for all occurrences of a regular expression
and returns all the successful matches.
• Result is returned in the form of collection which will return the
collection of all found matches.
• Can be used if we want to replace a text if match is found or can be
used to trigger an event too, if the text matches the regular
expression configured.

• Within a specified input string, replaces strings that match a regular
expression pattern with a specified replacement string.
• Can be used to replace texts in documents.
