I continue my research on the effects of life in prison opposed to the death penalty. Life
imprisonment is any sentence for serious crimes that insures the offender spends life
equivalency in prison or at least until parole. In a lot of cases when an offender is sentenced to

As of the present, humans are the only species that are able to put together structural linguistic
formations, such as words and sentences. Throughout the years there have been many theorists
trying to master the acquisition of human language and demonstrate the theory of how language is
developed in early years of life. This is a question people, including myself often think about. Using
two theorists, Burrhus Fredrick Skinner (1904 1990) and Avram Noam Chomsky(1928 present) we
will explore the two theories they studied in their lifetime and dedicate their life to, and contrast the
two theories of language development, exploring the Behaviorist Theory, studied by Skinner and
the Nativist Theory, studied by Chomsky.
These two theories of language development differ greatly from each other. Both Skinner and

Anselm Kiefer was a German artist who was born directly after World War II. The art that Kiefer
created focused on a reconciliation with the shame and horror surrounding the holocaust, aimed
aimed to redefine what it meant to be German in a post Nazi World (Smith). The piece I studied is
located at the MoMa in San Francisco and is entitled Shulamite . Shulamite is a historical paintingof
a Nazi Memorial Site, which Kiefer created it in 1983. In this painting, Kiefer transformed the
architecture of a site which was meant to honor Nazi heroes into a memorial for their victims.
Kiefer uses some very interesting aesthetic techniques to reflect the intense emotions of that time

Mendelssohn sibling s composition style were very similar, there are some characteristic in Fanny s

The VA runs the largest substance use disorder treatment program in the world. Treatment of
veterans with SUDs and co occurring psychiatric disorders is one of the following three paradigms;
parallel, sequential, and integrated. Most VA programs are parallel, where the patient receives
treatment for SUD in one program and treatment for PTSDin another. Many SUD PTSD veterans
may be unable to navigate the separate systems or make sense of the disparate messages about
PTSD treatment and recovery. One challenge to dissemination and implementation of EBTs is that
of dual disorders, particularly SUD and PTSD. These patients use costly inpatient services, tend to
have frequent relapses, and are less likely to adhere to or complete treatment.
Cook, Walser, Kane, and Woody (2006) did a study that had a goal of getting clinicians to accept
Seeking Safety and evaluate its efficacy when treating veterans, in hopes of bridging the gap of
parallel services at the VA to treat comorbid SUD PTSD. This study reinforced the old ways of

routine medical care. A more passive approach was taken via a daylong interactive staff training in
