2. Compare And Contrast Enlightenment And Hobbes
Hobbes and Locke, The Black and White of The Enlightenment
In a time when ignorance and superstition plagued the lands, only the brightest of thinkers could
enlighten the masses. After the scientific revolution, thinkers started utilizing reason to unveil the
natural laws that governed human behavior. Thus, marking the commencement of a period called
the Age of Reason. After witnessing the immense feats conquered by the likes of Newton, thinkers
thought that implementing the concepts of the scientific method could reveal laws about humankind.
Among the elite of those thinkers were John Locke and Thomas Hobbes. Locke and Hobbes are
renowned philosophical personalities whose works have had a preponderant influence on the
development of modern ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
On one hand, Hobbes had a more pessimistic inference of human nature and thought that it was
principally bad. In his work, The Leviathan, he suggests, as said before, that all men are equal, but
he argues that this equality brews the desire of obtaining something. Sometimes, this thing can only
be attained and enjoyed by one person. Consequently, people become enemies. Furthermore, he
insists that without a common power to maintain them, they are in a condition called war. This
conflict provoking state leaves no room for productivity and prosperity, proclaims Hobbes (Collier
15). On the contrary, Locke, generally, thought that people were essentially reasonable and would
collaborate with one another. In his work, Of Civil Government, Locke writes that men living
according to reason, without a common authority to decide between them, is properly the state of
nature. Additionally, he argues that God has given man reason to exploit and thereby achieve
optimal convenience. Likewise, he thinks that nothing made by God is created to be damaged or
spoiled, so, he claims, that there is room for conflict if reason is exercised (Collier

as hastily as possible. The camp was located outside of the village of Sobibor on the eastern side of
Lublin, close to the railroads it operated from May 1942 to October 1943. The primary source of
assassinations was by gas chambers which Jewswere brought in by train and led into the chambers

Death Camp was the smallest concentration camp during the Second World War and killed
approximately 260,000 jews within its walls. On October 14 1943, around 300 Jewish prisons

5. What Does A Little Tooth Mean
The enjambments in the poem, A Little Tooth, shows that the process of what he is talking about
continues on. Throughout the poem Thomas Lux uses the enjambments to show a dramatic
changes in the stages of the life of both the child and the parent. In the first stanza, the poet Thomas
Lux describes the beginning of when someone s daughter gets her first tooth. It describes the
growth process, when the first tooth comes. The poet also stressed how important getting the teeth
and how the parent monitors and show excitement how they see the daughter or child growing up.
Another interesting part of the daughter as she grows up is able to eat more food. For example,
newborns drinking milk but as they grow and progress, they eventually started

6. The Impact Of Technology In Foreign AffairsBy Alison Lurie
In today s changing world, technology has influenced most everyone. In this new age, many
different opinions and controversies have arose. Foreign Affairs, a novel by Alison Lurie, uses
fictional characters and events to create ideas, illustrated in the novel, that compel the reader to
think about common societal issues and their causes. Foreign Affairs uses characters ideas on
tourism and places emphasis on societal norms and the characters opinions of them as a catalyst to
nudge the reader into this thought about common issues in society. Virginia (Vinnie) Miner, an
advanced professor at Corinth University in the novel, illustrates societal behaviors and their
impact on her. Fred Turner, another professor at Corinth University in the novel, discusses tourism
and his opinions of it with friends in London, England. Plato s Allegory of the Cave , Comic by
Scott McCloud, and Adam Gopnik s article Stones and Bones can be used as lensesto view Foreign
Affairs. When using McCloud s lens, the emphasis on societal behaviors and tourism in Foreign
Affairs, acts as a vehicle for cogitation on the reader s part about the actual and representational
and their roles in the world today. Plato s lens, when applied to Foreign Affairs, leads the reader
to consider the effects of people living in a representational world as opposed to living in the
actual world. Gopnik s lens addresses aspects of tourism that lack the actual culture and emotion
behind an event or place, leading to a

7. Examples Of Self Centeredness In The Great Gatsby
Self Centeredness in Gatsby
Fitzgerald provides many themes in his book The Great Gatsby one of the main themes is how
being self centered can easily overpower self morals. This theme is described in every character
except Nick through what they are engaged in. The motif of self centeredness is frequently
portrayed in Gatsby and gives an added comparison to Fitzgerald s theme of self centeredness. The
first example of self centeredness in Gatsby is Jay Gatsby himself, by giving the reader a concrete
example of being self centered. She never...except me. (Fitzgerald 130)
This shows how Gatsby is self centered by consistently pressuring Daisy into being with him
knowing Daisy has a family and life after he left for the war. There is much more

8. Comparing Augustine And Free Will
Paul saw sin as any act that violated God s law, whether that be by nature or literal and physical
law. It was evident that Paul believed that whoever sinned without out the law will perish without
the law (Romans 2:12). He also discusses that those without the law, such as Gentiles, would do law
with what is written in their hearts, their conscience testifying (Romans 2:15). To avoid sin, one can
either follow the law through the legal system, or you can understand the law through one s faith
/relationship with God; either path would hopefully allow someone to avoid sin as much as
possible. While Paul does believe that humans can minimize how much they sin, he does not
believe that they escape it all together. Paul believes that humans... Show more content on

Adam and Eve s pride is what led them to sin, because the serpent had informed them that they
could become self sufficient and more knowledgeable. Their undue exaltation (Augustine XI.13),
such as their desire to become self sufficient and knowledgeable like God, allowed them to choose
the wrongly directed path that God has not intended, therefore resulting in the first sin. Lastly,
Augustine also explains how he believes that free will and the body are two distinct things. In fact,
Augustine describes lust (Augustine XI.16) as a type of wrongly directed will that is common
among humans, but explicitly states how this will takes possession of the whole body and moves
the whole man (Augustine XI.16) into bodily pleasures. It is important for Augustine to make this
distinction about the will, because he wants to show how humans still have the opportunity to
choose a rightly directed will, instead of always thinking and/or acting with a wrongly directed

9. Persuasive Essay On Safe Sidewalk Safety
Is it possible for an athlete who engages in extreme sports such as rock climbing or extreme
terrain mountain biking to sustain broken bones from a sidewalk accident? While this seems
improbable, it can happen because of the person s expectations. When using a sidewalk, it s
natural to assume that it s a perfectly safe activity. Walking on sidewalks is not an extreme sport
and shouldn t require the same intense focus of spotting fall hazards. It s a reasonable
expectation that it s safe to let your guard down. Defective sidewalks are hazardous for everyone
using them. Sidewalks must be safe for all pedestrians including joggers, children, the elderly, and
the disabled. Good sidewalks are essential for delivery workers, who can t always look

10. Summary Of Immigrant Kids By Russel Freedman
Russell Freedman wrote the article immigrant kids to educate people about immigrants and what
their life was like. This story tells what immigrant went through and what they did to get to
America. He has very good technique and shows very good images and great sources. He also
wrote some very shocking and also very surprising facts.
In 1880 immigrant kids traveled from Europe to America. They went to Ellis Island which is in
New York City. When they got Ellis Island hey had to get examinations to check if they have
contagious infections or disease. The would grab their eyelids and pull it up and peer beneath it.
Most of the past but the ones who didn t have to undergo a more thorough medical exam. The
others that pass went to go register where they get a question with an interpreter if they need it.
They asked questions like what is your name or can you write or how much money do you have
with you. Some of them were really flustered and confused they couldn t answer some of the
questions, so they let them rest and try again another time. About one out of five was detained and
held against their will because they couldn t answer some of the questions in the examination.

1. What is the precipitating stressor event that probably triggered the onset of Janet s schizophrenic
episode? What other factors may have contributed? The precipitating stressor of Janet s
schizophrenic episode is more than likely the change of environment and the overwhelming change
in customs. To elaborate, Janet was very sheltered at home. Her parents built a false sense of
security around her by tolerating strange behaviors and allowing for them to become a part of her
everyday routine rather than continuing to seek alternative options in order for her to function.
Moreover, a college student without any history of mental illness or behavior issues tends to

M. Janet allowed herself to develop a false sense of security surrounding Dr. M enabling for her
to feel secure and valued. In any regard, I feel that she may have had other delusions prior to this
event a prodromal phase due to the fact she had such strange behaviors. The desire to eat in
isolation, for instance, there is no explanation for this. One would wonder if she perhaps was
feeling watched or insecure that others were talking about her while she ate? Nevertheless, the
delusion that Dr. M. and herself were destined to save the world was nothing less than a reality for
her. The intervention of her parents, roommates, and hospital staff initiated the thought that they
were incarnations of evil forces intent on keeping her apart from Dr. M. Her hallucinations fit
together with her delusions by, her preoccupation with Dr. M was a desperate attempt to save
herself from psychological catastrophe. (Case Study) While her delusions reinterpret the meaning

12. Melanie Klein, The Mother Of Object Relations
She is a drive theorist who influenced child psychology and is known as the mother of Object
Relations. Melanie Klein believed that drives are object seeking, relational in their essence and not
just meant for resolutions of tensions as Freud suggested.
Klein postulated that internal object formation is integral to the psychic life of the infant and is
based on powerful struggle between the internal forces of life and death instincts , child s phantasy ,
innate envy and gratification and lack of with the prime object (mother).
Klein believed that the mother is most important and infants have an innate mother an unconscious
inner knowing by the child of the primal maternal image of the mother, .

The client for the therapist sometimes plays out this position also. Is he there to be good or bad?
Depressive position follows the paranoid schizoid position as the anxiety of being destroyed by the
object gets replaced by fear of destroying the object. The infant then begins a cycle where some
negativity is internalized in order to gain control of it, and some good is projected onto the mother
so that she could protect the infant. These cycles of projection and introjection continue until the
infant realizes that the good mother and the bad mother are one and the mother whom he
phantasized of destroying is the same mother he loves.
This causes immense guilt for earlier persecutory feelings towards the object and the infant realizes
that the mother cannot be blamed all the time and this explains the far away look children have
sometimes in their eyes.
The infant suffers from depressive anxiety and this position is defined by a loss of innocence . This
is a healthy development and depressive word is misleading here because actually it s a step
forward and if this position is not resolved it can lead to

14. Arjuna s Second Discourse Of The Bhagavad
Arjuna is faced with an internal dilemma during the Second Discourse of the Bhagavad Gita, and
although the God Krishna seeks to help guide him towards an understanding of the meaning of his
life, Arjuna is still wary of making the wrong decision. This decision concerns itself with either
fighting in a civil war against family relatives, having to kill those Arjunacares most about, or
abandoning his dharma as a warrior and jeopardizing fulfilling his duty the greater Self that plays
such a pivotal role in his people s culture and beliefs. While advocating for the battle and fulfilling
one s dharma, Krishnautilizes the point that the Self an overarching force in life is a formless,
eternal entity that cannot die and is more than the mere vessels that encompass the human beings
across the battlefield. It is more important to the greater vitality of one s existence to complete a
duty to the Self rather than live with the temporary benefits of living in what may appear to be a
more pleasurable life, but one with no fulfillment.

This communication prevents employees from repeating fellow employees mistakes, saving time
and money. Philips has realized significant benefits due to implementing a worldwide scorecard
system. Employees embrace and use the scorecard to improve results. Management uses the
scorecard to communicate strategy and align employees with strategy. The scorecard is also used
at all levels of the organization. Philips has implemented a balanced scorecard and succeeded in
focusing the company on a diverse set of business measures (Hudson, 2004).
Disadvantage of Balance Scorecard
Because the balanced scorecard looks at the affect on the whole, the performance and
encouragement of the individual can be lost. The scorecard can be misrepresented and used as an
employee monitoring tool rather than as a company performance tool. Finally, the large number
of variables taken into consideration to form a viable scorecard can be cumbersome and result in
a job unto itself (Price Watson, 2013). Some issues that Phillips Electronics faces were software for
use in capturing and transferring data to a BSC in real time should be selected carefully and
researched fully prior to implementing the balanced scorecard. A balance scorecard must be

results that are sensitive and proprietary. In trying to determine employee level performance
indicators, the company learned that many

20. Radiation Exposure And Its Effects On The Earth
Dai 5 gradually travels away from the Earth. A chronic radiation exposure is the most accurate term
to describe the level of radiation astronauts have to undergo in the flight to Europa. The spacecraft
obviously does not naturally have a strong magnetic field constantly being generated by a liquid
iron core that the Earthhas to shield off most of the harmful radiation. An average normal
radiation dose given to a person on Earth in one day is approximately 10 microsieverts. As
indicated by the instrument on the Mars rover during its cruise days in the space, astronauts
would receive a radiation does about 0.66 sievert in a short trip such as the round trip between the
Earth and Mars. To put this in a more quantitative perspective, the amount of radiation being
received by the astronauts is equal to the amount from CT scans on a nearly weekly basis. Since
the distance from the Earth to Europa is much greater than the distance from the Earth to Mars,
such a chronic radiation exposure is really a serious hazard to the astronauts. (Karl Tate, 2013) The
good news is that with nuclear technology in the twenty second century, nuclear reactors along with
the nuclear propulsion device can provide long lasting energy to sustain an artificial magnetic field
around the spacecraft to shield off the radiation. This is also another reason why the spacecraft
implements an integration of solar sails and nuclear propulsion: the nuclear reactor can generate
enough power to sustain the

prescribes a medication to their patient in lethal doses. This allows the patient to choose when they
want to die. They can take the pills at home with friends and family present if they wish or they

They created the Death with Dignity Act that would allow mentally competent yet terminally ill
people to choose to die. The Death with Dignity Act was originally passed in 1994. The law was
immediately challenged in court and prevented from going into effect. As the court cases
proceeded, the Oregon Legislature decided the public did not know what it was doing when it
voted and decided to put the issue back on the ballot in 1997. Oregon Death with Dignity won
every court challenge and on October 27, 1997, the U.S. Supreme Court denied a hearing to
challengers of death with dignity, allowing the law to go into effect. In November 1997, the voters
of Oregon overwhelmingly voted to support the law. Support for the law has continued to increase
since its implementation in 1997.
Supporting PAS
There are some people who believe that PAS is merely another decision that a human being
should be able to make about their own life. It is peaceful and easy to prepare for. When a
person chooses to die it is most likely because they are terminally ill. Meaning, they have a
disease that will only allow them to live for a limited amount of time. Some elderly people want
to have the option of PAS also. Sometimes, they grow old and their bodies cannot function the
way that they used to. This is depressing and discouraging to an older person. They cannot see

Although men had ruled the earth for years together, the male gender is highly susceptible so far
heart disease is concerned . More men are living with and dying of Coronary Heart Disesse

CHD. The prevalence of CHD is higher in men within each age stratum until after 75 years of age,
which may contribute to the perception that heartdisease is a man s disease.
The classic risk factors for CVD are the same in women and men, but there are gender differences
in the prevalence of risk factors. Dr Bernadine Healy first introduced the concept of the Yentl

23. Vaccinations For A Healthy Lifestyle
Throughout time many people on this planet have depended on vaccinations to be maintain a
healthy lifestyle. Although vaccinations can fight off disease they can also affect kids in
negative ways. There are also parents who depend on certain vaccinations too much which can
cause more problems in the long run. As the amount of kids who are not vaccinated grows, the
amount of diseases that were once wiped away start to return. When kids are born they are right
away taken to get vaccinations. One of the reasons that young kids need more vaccinations is
because kids have weaker immune systems. Whether people decide to vaccinate their children
depends on certain factors like, income, ethnicity, and religion. There are many people who
choose not to vaccinate their kids. This can either affect the young kid in a positive or negative
way. Today certain states are responsible for the overall care of others and require people to get
vaccinated. In many cases parents are required to vaccinate their kids before they enter grade
school or child care centers. This idea can be good and bad in many ways. For one it requires all
kids to be vaccinated for viruses which would eliminate the diseases that exist in kids. Some
people might state that requiring children to be vaccinated before entering school would eliminate
a family s freedom of speech by having kids vaccinated against parent s will. In some cases families
can refuse to get kids vaccinated because of religious beliefs. Starting

25. The Paleolithic And Neolithic
Many people wonder where they come from and how they became humans. There are two eras
throughout history that talks about how humans used to survive when there wasn t anything to
make a well constructed shelter, weapons or kitchen essentials to make food to eat. According to
Garvin Lewis in the book WCIV Volume 1. Boston: Wadsworth, Cengage Learning, 2012, the
Paleolithicera was the earliest and longest period of prehistory, when humans used simple stone
stool (Lewis). The Neolithicera was the period of human history characterized by advances in
stone stool making and the beginning of agriculture (Lewis). This essay is going to compare and
contrast the people in Paleolithic era and Neolithic. The difference between the people in the
Paleolithic and Neolithic era was the way they both obtain food, and how they both lived. The
similarity that the people of the Paleolithic and Neolithic era had was that each gender obtained
somewhat the same roles. Lastly, the way that art was used. In the Paleolithic era, people were
foragers and gathers because they used to hunt wild animals and forage wild plants (Diamond).
In this era, everyone was constantly looking for food since they didn t have no stored food and
no concentrated food source (Diamond). Since they didn t have a place to permanently live in
they used to move around and find food as a small group and they used to permanently stay in
caves. In the other hand, Farmer of the Neolithic era were people that

greatness as foretold by a fortune teller..
Hannibal was born in Carthage which is now a days known as Tunisia, a cursed land upon all

27. Aquarius Symbolism
As someone with their midheaven in Aquarius, as well as an Aquarius father, I know a good bit
about this sign. The Water Bearer is the symbol of Aquarius, dispersing knowledge that flows
freely and equally to everyone all around the world and representing all creation and the beginning
of life itself. The water that the Water Bearer pours out of his vase symbolizes truth, knowledge,
and what each individual pours out into the world. The glyph of Aquarius represents the flowing
water of the Water Bearer, and it also depicts the human ankle in motion. Symbolically, the
unbroken and rigid lines represent pure, electric energy, as well as universal though and wisdom of
the future. Aquarius is ruled by the planet Uranus, which is the planet of rebellion, innovation,
individuality, and higher thought. Aquarius polarity is Leo. The house that is ruled by Aquarius
would be the eleventh house, which is the house of groups, friends, social causes, and society. On
average, the sun transits Aquarius yearly between January 20 February 18.... Show more content on

29. Abuse In Nursing Home Abuse
Unfortunately, the dependent condition of most nursing home residents makes them especially
vulnerable to all types of abuse. Aside from physical violence and neglect there are a number of
ways a loved one may be mistreated while in the care of a nursing home provider. The following
list explains the various ways in which nursing home abuse may present itself: Physical Abuse. o
Physical abuse is the intentional use of force against a senior citizen that results in bodily injury or
even death. This is the most apparent type of nursing home abuse to detect especially where
relatives visit the facility often Examples of physical abuse include: unnecessary use of restraints or
confinement, assault and battery, dropping patients, using force to assist patients, shoving or
knocking a patient down, hitting, biting, scratching, hair pulling, deliberate and inappropriate use
of drugs, breaking bones, or any act of violence directed towards the elderly that results in physical
harm. Injuries that may result from such abuse include: broken bones, internal injuries, burns,
overdoses, concussions, welts, marks, choking, bruises, black eyes, or sprains. In extreme cases
such abuse can result in coma or even the untimely death of a resident. Psychological Abuse. o
Psychological abuse is much harder to detect given nursing home residents rarely talk about it or
report it. Such is true given nursing home residents may be afraid of their caregivers and reluctant
to talk about the issues

Calvin Klein
An American Designer
By
Neera Bann
Calvin Richard Klein was born and raised in New York City s borough of the Bronx. He decided
he wanted to be a fashion designer at an early age, most probably as a result of the influence of
his grandmother. Leo and Flora Klein were his parents. They both worked in the grocery
business. Flora s mother, Molly Stern was an accomplished seamstress. She operated a notions
shop and tailoring business where Calvin spent a lot of time as a child. (Marsh) Calvin attended

Klein s design philosophy is rooted in minimalism. This is what he is known for. He typically uses
neutral colors or earth tones and designs separates that work in many different ensembles, from day
to night and season to season. At the same time his advertising for jeans and fragrances was being
criticized, Calvin Klein clothing was receiving critical acclaim for its clean, modern lines. (Gaines)
Time magazine named Klein one of the twenty five most influential Americans in 1996. Klein
won the prestigious Coty Award three times in a row (1973 1975), becoming the youngest
designer to ever have that honor. In 1982, 1983, and 1986 he also captured the Council of Fashion
Designers of America Award. In addition Klein built a financially strong company with the
continued advice and help of partner Barry Schwartz, who guided the company through tough
financial times in the late 1980s. Few designers have rivaled his worldwide empire. (Gaines)
In late 2002, Calvin Klein, Inc. caught the eye of Phillips Van Heusen Corporation (PVH), a
company looking to acquire a major brand. As the largest shirt maker in the United States, PVH
owned the Van Heusen, IZOD, and G.H Bass brands and had licensing agreements with Geoffrey

Intersectional analysis of Bend it Like Beckham. For this assignment, to make an intersectional
analysis I decided to watch a movie. After searching and thinking for a while I picked the movie
Bend it Like Beckham, since a lot of elements in this movie are applicable on my own life and I
really could relate to one of the characters in the movie. As the title of the movie already implies,
it is about football and takes place in England. Jesminder is a Sikh, Indian girl from a very
traditional Indian family. She is not interested in fashion, boys and her looks; the only thing she is
interested in is football. One time when she is playing in the park with her friends, who are all

That is so weird! And without their knowledge of my sexuality, quite often people assumed I
was a lesbian because I played football. Without knowing any axes of my life, I was
automatically put in a lower position, just because I am a girl who played football. This also is
seen in the movie. Jules has short hair, wears baggy clothes and plays football, and her mother
overhears a conversation between Jules and Jess about love, but she misinterprets it and thinks
Jules is gay. The mother is very upset about her daughter being gay and when Jules tells she is
not gay, the mother is very relieved and then says there is nothing wrong with being gay. Even
though she says that, she is still happy her own daughter is in fact not a lesbian. This shows
certain stereotypes towards girls that play football, have short hair and wear baggy clothes.
Football is such a gendered sport that it automatically leads to sexism, thinking girls who play
football must be lesbian because they play a men s sport. Lesbianism is also seen as something
less good than being straight, seeing the mother is relieved her daughter is not a lesbian. The
coach of the team, a young, straight white man is ashamed to be the coach of a girl s team. He had
to stop playing football due to an injury, and he wanted to do something with football. He ended up

Bribery in the business world is a very polemical term, where it involves the corruption between

the world? by Jessie Qi Zhou Mike W. Peng provides a good review and examination of how
bribery plays a role in the growing process of a firm and what implications or consequences it
can bring. The article brings two important points of view; the first one is focus on what levels
the firms have to use bribery in order to obtain benefits (which depends in what country the firm is

Those rivals may not have to fear the possible legal consequences, if they hail from countries with

important to have well structure political strategy to regulate and control emerging economies. Also
the authors state that business regulations are often subject to constant change , creating a complex
situation for businesses to implement a long term planning. As respond for that kind of complexity,
bribery may be the most reliable tool to speed and facilitate important information from government
in order to be prepared for any new incoming event before other firms. Third, the Legal system

important principle the importance of transparency. Bribery is often observed in a government
where the check and balance system is weak. Second, it really looks like that bribery will always
be a benefit for the firm as long no one finds out. But the article expresses a different point of
view which I totally agree; perhaps bribery is not the best solution for every company. Going back

transition into adulthood and realize that there is not as much good in the world as there first

cruelties of life or simply fail. Bloodletting and Miraculous Cures, by Vincent Lam, follows a
group of medical students as they train to become doctors and how they learn to deal with
different social pressures that accompanies the profession. At the beginnings of the characters
medical journeys, they are all ecstatic to get into medical school, each having their own reason,

This linkage can be improved which would strengthen the legitimacy of the European Parliament.
However, even the most representative and legitimate European Parliament could be ineffective

When considering alcohol, marijuana, and cocaine, it is actually hard to classify them all as the
same thing because they all have their own individual effects on the body. The classmate was
correct when saying marijuana and alcohol have similar effects on behavior, but even then, they
are only similar to a certain extent. Alcohol and marijuana are similar because they both act as a
depressant on the body s nervous system when entered into the blood stream. Both substances
cause the individual to become impaired in one way or another and lose the ability to do some
of the things sober people can do. However, alcohol causes the body to lose balance, alter the
individuals to speak properly, impairs their sleep cycle, and at times causes aggressive behavior.
Marijuana, on the other hand, over activates the cannabinoid receptors causing a disruption of
memory, alters perceptions in regards to sound and movement by slowing it down, and numbing
portions of the body as a whole. When adding cocaine into the equation, that s where the
comparison is thrown off completely. Cocaine does the complete opposite and acts as a stimulant
by blocking the removal of dopamine in the synapses of the brain (National Institute of Drug

leads to them crashing and hitting an extreme low. Cocaine causes tachycardia, arrhythmia,
abdominal pain, and possible strokes/seizures due to the long term respiratory problems. Though

women into the SEALs. Attrition is an unavoidable part of military, the toll war fighting takes
on one s body leads to a high turnover rate through retirement, and the death of a teammate is an
ever lurking possibility. Unless there is a drastic rethinking of sleeping, hygiene and other
general living arrangements and the political correctness of opposite gender cohabitation while
