The Importance Of Nursing For Their Patient s Spiritual...
Nursing is a profession that involves caring for people from many different religious, cultural, ethnic,
or racial backgrounds. The world is full of unique individuals. All people have needs, however in
nursing, most of these needs are physical and/or psychosocial; but spiritual needs are important and
should not be overlooked. Since patients do need spiritual care, nurses have a unique opportunity to
minister to the needs of their patients. Nurses also may find themselves in a position that calls for
them to minister to the family and friends of their patients. There are differing opinions of how nurses
should care for their patient s spiritual needs. I will discuss why nursing should include spirituality in
their efforts to delivering holistic care to their patients.
Keywords: Nurses, Spirituality, Religion, Holistic, Transcendence, Ethics The Role of Spirituality in
Health Care
Spirituality can be seen in everyday life as well as in the areas of philosophy, literature, sociology, and
health care. Many scholastic programs have begun offering courses in spirituality, religion, and health.
Many nursing schools have incorporated spirituality and holistic health care into their curriculums.
Meeting the spiritual needs of our patients should be as important to health care providers as meeting
their physical, mental and emotional needs.
Statement of Understanding
Laube (2016) wrote that to her spirituality means believing in a higher power . This higher power may

Negative Effects Of Technology On Youth
Technology varies widely from one decade to the next. The invention of the television increased the
usage technology during the 80s. While the invention of computers rose the use of technology in the
90s. Once seen as an improvement to the society, technology has now become a problem. Numerous
versions of technology now exist to create technological distractions. Computers, cell phones, and
video games stand the leading distractions in today s society. Technology began small but, with great
advancements technology has gone too far. Youth remain greatly affected by technology. Since
technology has become a normal routine for youth, they fail to realize the problem occurring. Older
individuals who grew up without as much technology, can point out the issue easily. Technology
affects today s youth negatively because it distracts, promotes violence, and lowers independence.
Technology affects youth negatively because it creates distractions. Cell phones have become the
leading distraction involving injuries (Turkle 430). As stated by Sherry Turkle, Massachusetts Institute
of Technology professor, claims that These young people live in a state of waiting for connection. And
they are willing to take risks, to put themselves on the line (430). Texting and driving have become a
major problem causing many to crash and die. Technology also causes distraction in classrooms.
Michael Berry, a professor at the University of Colorado, states that technology affects classrooms

A pesticide is a substance used for preventing,...
A pesticide is a substance used for preventing, controlling, and destroying pests. Pesticides are a class
of biocides, which are poisonous substances. Plant protection products, which protect plants from
detrimental things such as weeds, insects, and plant diseases, are the most common use of pesticides.
Pesticides are also used in non agricultural ways. Pesticides are, generally, chemical or biological
agents that disable or kill pests. Some common pests are weeds, insects, birds, molluscs, mammals,
fish, nematodes, and microbes. Pesticides are usually used when the pests destroy property, spread
diseases, or cause inconvenience. Pesticides do have advantages, but they can also have downsides.

Phenoxy and benzoic acid herbicides grow cells without the use of normal cell division, eventually
squashing the plant s nutrient transport system; triazines prevent photosynthesis.Bbiological
mechanism function or application method is another way to classify pesticides. The majority of
pesticides operate by poisoning pests. Systemic pesticides function by moving inside of a plant and
being absorbed by the plant. Types of pesticides are often named after the kind of pest they target.
Some types of pesticides that are referred to by their targeted pests include herbicides, insecticides,
insect growth regulators, nematicides, termiticides, molluscicides, piscicides, avicides, rodenticides,
predacides, bactericides, insect repellents, animal repellents, antimicrobials, fungicides, disinfectants
(antimicrobial), and sanitizers. They can also be thought of as biodegradable pesticides or persistent
pesticides. Biodegradable pesticides are broken down by microbes and different living things into
benign compounds. Persistent pesticides work differently, taking months or even years to break down.
Pesticides are also noted by being either chemically related or obtained from a recurrent source or
method. The word pesticide includes these substances as well: defoliants, desiccants, insect growth
regulators, and plant growth regulators. Defoliants work by making leaves and other foliage to fall
from a plant, generally to ease harvest. Desiccants cause

Waking Up And Taking Charge
In Waking Up and Taking Charge, Anya Kamenetz is persuading us to ignite the flame and fight for
our rights as students. Young adults need to stop focusing on global issues and start focusing on
problems regarding their personal and financial lives. It is important that students put a freeze on
global issues and better things for themselves while they are in school, because it will help them in the
long run. Waking Up and Taking Charge seems to be about pushing young adults to be selfish toward
their own problems, but it is really about students taking a stand and fighting for their political views
by focusing on problems that have yet to be addressed. Adultescents should fight for better lower
tuition costs and better financial aid to help them financially, and should work together to bring these
situations to light. Younger adults are legally able to vote in political elections and be active in the
government, so why aren t their voices heard more often? Because they focus on problems that don t
affect them and problems that are already brought to light and/or are already being taken care of.
Student organizations don t even focus on school related issues. They focus more on global issues. She
compares our country to others and how other countries have made student s lives and wallets better.
Also, students are not educated on issues regarding themselves as much as they should be, so they dig
themselves an economic grave. Students need to know what they re signing

Play is a thing in which all children should do. It helps social/emotional/physical and cognitive
development. It helps build relationships, team work, helps communications, movement,
understanding and problem solving also play is a certain way we develop all key skills and this is
something all children should do. It supports the children s holistic development. It helps build
relationships, team work, helps communication, movement, understanding and problem solving. The
nature of play is to do with the indoor and outdoor environment, this includes all activities such as,
swimming, forest school, running and climbing trees, playing with dolls, building activities. There are

1950 s Inventions
As Albert Einstein once said, The true sign of intelligence is not knowledge but imagination. This
logic is what sparked the creation of the popular inventions of the 1950 s. Even though some
inventions of this decade may not be around today, they still have a significance on inventions and
thinking today. There are plenty of inventions that we use in modern time. Some examples are the
Barbie Doll, Diet Soda, and today s most popular fast food chain McDonalds. There were many types
of inventions in the 1950 s such as technological, medical, and other inventions that are still used
today.
One example of a technological invention of the nineteen fifties was the video recorder. The video

Another invention that is still around is McDonald s. The founder of McDonald s is named Ray Kroc
and the restaurant is named after two brothers by the names of Dick and Mac (Ruth). By the year
nineteen fifty eight McDonald s had sold their one hundred millionth hamburger. He named
McDonalds after the brothers because he was inspired on how successful the restaurant was. Diet soda
was another invention that is still used today. The Kirsch Bottling Company was the first company to
successfully make diet soda. The company made the first sugar free ginger ale (Ruth). Diet soda was
originally made for diabetics at the Jewish Sanitarium for Chronic Disease. The next successful
company to make diet soda was in nineteen fifty eight and was made by a company named Royal
Crown Cola. Royal Crown Cola Company named their diet soda Diet Rite. These inventions were and

probably exacerbate the tendency of Western manufactures to shift their production in Eastern

General Description of Edwards SAPIEN XT Transcatheter Heart
Valve.
Transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR), or Transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI), is a
relatively new surgical procedure to combat aortic stenosis. When the aortic valve gets occluded from
a congenital defect, or damage from
calcium or scarring ,1 blood cannot flow through the valve efficiently. This leads to decreased
availability of oxygenated blood to peripheral tissues, and can be harmful or even fatal to patients.
When the malformations of the valve reach a critical point in which the patient s health will be
significantly affected by the lack of proper blood flow,
TAVR is an effective choice to combat stenosis. According to a study done by Samir
Kapadia, MD, TF TAVR (trans femoral transcatheter aortic valve replacement) exhibits a 95.7 percent
success rate. Thirty day mortality is limited to 0.4 percent, and stroke rate exhibited a 1.6 percent
incidence rate. Follow ups after one year showed a mortality rate and stroke rate of 17.5 percent and
3.5 percent, respectively.2 This data implies that while TAVR is effective, the procedure still has room
to improve. The Edwards SAPIEN

Perfect Idealism In Shakespeare s Hamlet
Introduction
The play Hamlet is a fable of how the ghost of a slain king comes to haunt the living with disastrous
consequences. A rancorous ghost and a brother s murder, lead the gloomy setting of Hamlet s
Denmark. Hamlet story opens with an encounter between young Hamlet, his dad s ghost as well as the
prince of Denmark. The ghost reveals to Hamlet that its murderer was his brother Claudius, who then
rapidly wedded his widowed queen, Gertrude. As a result, the ghost presses Hamlet to seek vengeance
on the man who stole his throne as well as his queen to which Hamlet consents.
For the moment, Claudius and Gertrude get anxious about the prince s behavior and as a result employ
a pair of Hamlet s associates to watch over him. At the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

Similarly, this article discusses the theme of the complexity of action. This play depicts of how at
times the decision to act is usually influenced not only by coherent considerations, like the need for
inevitability but also by psychological, ethical as well as emotional factors. For instance, Hamlet is
depicted to distrusting the impression that it is even likely to behave in a measured, focused manner.
Like when he acts he prefers to do it in a blind manner, recklessly as well as violently.

Likewise, this journal discusses the mystery of death as depicted in the play Hamlet. In the
repercussion of his dad s death, Hamlet gets obsessed with the notion of demise. All through the play,
he considers demise from awesome various perspectives. He supposes both the profound result of
death, represented in the phantom and the substantial stays of the dead, like the decaying corpses in
the cemetery. And since death in the play is the cause as well as the consequence of vengeance, then it
is intimately tied to the subject of vengeance and justice.

W. H. Auden Research Paper
W. B. Yeats, W. H. Auden, and Seamus Heaney all experienced senseless violence throughout their
life. They all lived in the twentieth century, a time of greater violence than had ever been seen before,
and their poetry, as well as views on the role of the poet in society illustrate the impact that violence
had upon them. In response to this abundant stimuli, they wrote a great deal of poetry that seeks to
comprehend the incomprehensible acts they observed. They each struggled with disillusionment, most
especially Auden, whose views of poetry changed most radically. Ultimately, they all agree upon the
senselessness of violence and war, but the difference is in the impact they allow it to have upon them.
William Butler Yeats had two main periods ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Heaney s view of poetry differs from that of Yeats and Auden, but still has noticeably similar
characteristics. Poetry is, for Heaney, and archeological process, that delves into the past of humanity
as well as his own past. In relation to violence, Heaney sees poetry as having an obligation to honor
the dead without glorifying or detrimenting them. The Grauballe Man is the perfect example of a
poem that explores the past, but also deals with the struggles of the present. The poem is focused upon
a dead body that was preserved in a Danish bog. Heaney uses his detailed description of the dead man
to honor him. He moves from the ball of his heel like a basalt egg to his slashed throat. (Heaney
2954). He sees beauty in this preserved form, and refuses to call is a corpse or body. There is
something beautiful to be found in an honest and reverent honoring of the dead. Heaney at first only
thought of the man in the form of a picture, but having spent time with this eternal image of violence
and death, he lies perfected in [his] memory, helping him to cope with the tragic violence of his life as
a Catholic in Ireland s Protestant north (Heaney 2955). Heaney uses poetry to process his reaction, but
in a different way. Instead of verbalizing his conflicts directly, he simply looks upon the world with
honesty and describes it in truth and clarity. In doing so,

Obtain a Cleaned Base History:
Base Demand + Activities + Circumstances = Final Demand Plan
When changing the demand planning process to adopt the concept, markets need to adapt historical
data. This task will be done once during the implementation of the concept.
Maintain a Cleaned Base History:
Once the concept is in place, maintain the Cleaned Base History by cleaning history of the new
historical data. This task is to be done every month/week in the monthly and weekly Demand Planning
cycles.
Validation of Cleaning with Statistical Forecasting:
Statistical Forecasting tools are strongly recommended to support Obtain a Cleaned Base History
process. Indeed,
Demand planners and Sales Marketing need to validate the consistency of the Cleaned Base History
with statistical simulation tool.
Judgmental approach:
This involves the knowledge and experience of the Demand Planners and people from Sales
Marketing. Their judgment based on the business experience is the most important input in the
cleaning process.
Mathematical approach:
Mathematical and graphical techniques support the judgmental approach. They highlight data that,
potentially, need to be cleaned and thus ease the manual work.
Distinction is needed for three types of products:
The strategy to clean depends on the category:
· Category 1 : Mix products
Detailed cleaning is necessary
· Category 2 : Baseline products

Explain How Many High School Students Have Jobs Before...
There are many high school students who take on jobs before they head to college. Having a job
throughout any period of time of your life can be a good advantage in your personal life and future
occupation. It can help by developing skills in the work area with your coworkers and responsibility
with your assigned tasks. Getting your first job you have real world responsibilities, and money that
you earned yourself, probably for the first time. In your teen years especially, the independence that
comes with a part time job is especially appealing. You get out of the house, meet new people, forge
professional connections, and make your own savings and spending decisions.
Many students into today s society have some sort of a job before they head to college(typical).

I ve developed my opinion on this from the experience of having a job for three years of my high
school career(personal). It s improved my skills in time management, my ability to work with people,
and to be smart with money. Time management is important in the real world to be able to juggle all of
the tasks thrown at you. With the combination of personal life and work life, it can become difficult to
be on time, but having a job has already taught me that. Social skills is another important quality to
accomplish. You won t get anywhere in life if everyone hates you. That s why it is important to be able
to deal with an angry customer or unhappy coworker. While being a cashier you have to always think
before you open your mouth, because you never know what the other person can do. I believe this
gives you good patience and helps when other people may be trying to talk to you. The job that I ve
had had really turned me into a better person while having to treat everyone who walks through those

The Biomechanics Of A Skiing
For this research assignment, the topic I would like to discuss is the biomechanics of a skiing. Skiing
is one type of sports that has begun to increase in popularity. Athletes are always trying to discover
ways to get stronger, faster, and higher with minimal injuries. Improving our biomechanics is one
important way of improving your athletic performance, and limit injuries. However, there are many
pros and cons within the biomechanics of skiing. I would like to learn more about leg alignment and
form and how these can affect the skier. Abnormalities of the leg and lower leg alignment are
important factors while skiing. To be an efficient skier it requires a balanced movement. My methods
of data collection to analyze my subject s skill movement will consist of a multi methods approach.
This approach includes a mixture of literature reviews, observational review through video analysis,
and interviews with the athlete. These data collection methods will help me in my project by allowing
me to strategically point out differences in angular placement and posture, along with speed variations
due to changes in position. I will be able to compare a professional style of skiing with that of a novice
skier and point out the differences in positioning between an experienced skier and a novice skier. I
will limit research information to scholarly and reputable sources only. Once of the sources I will
reference comes from a research article called Clinical Biomechanics of Skiing.

Old Timer
My definition of old timer would be someone in their 70s.80s. So I would take the age at which Mr.
Old Timer was raising his children, which was apparently when he would have been at the age to
determine respectfulness of his own children. Let s say 25 years old. That generation would have had
multiple children by then. If he was born in 1940, he would have been 25 years old in 1965. I would
take data from his geographic area from the years 1965 and 2010. Each group would have 20 people
who were under the age of twenty years old in each of the two years. They would be interviewed on
criminal record, juvenile record, level of education, drug use or history of, and perceived life
satisfactions during childhood, as well as parenting ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The outcome then depends on the data and information collected. While testing a hypothesis, the
researcher might commit type 1 or type 2 error because either the null hypothesis or alternative
hypothesis is rejected when it is true. Rejecting of the null hypothesis will result in type 1 error; and
alternative hypothesis in type 2 error. It is therefore important to allow room for possibility of
committing either of these errors as no study is perfect (Chang, 2011). Hypothesis I will formulate is
How does the level of parental involvement in children s lives affect the amount of respect given and
trouble caused in the past vs now.
To test this hypothesis, I would conduct a study of an acceptable sample size from a population that
best describes my study. I would then conduct a survey on a group of parents from a decade to two
decades ago and now; asking them questions regarding their involvement with their child and the
amount of respect given to them from their children and how much troubled they caused. After the
collection of my data and my results are recorded, a statistical test should be done to determine
whether the difference between the parental involvements from a decade to two decades ago versus
the involvement now is affecting the amount of respect given and trouble caused by their kids, and if

Essay about How Chritianity Affected People in India
How did Christianity affect the people of India?
Introductory
Religions have been around for many thousands of years. Catholicism is one of the largest religions in
the world. India is a country in Asia, and is a little bigger than Texas, but has over 2 billion people. A
2001 survey showed there to a little over 24 million Christians in India (Christianity). This topic was
appealing to me because I had lived in a boarding school in India from fourth grade to sixth grade. I
had seen the effects of this religion on the people and how they reacted towards change. I had seen
how people adapted to the religion and how people put down the religion turning to other religions

Background
The British people had been in India since the 18th century, and had enslaved the people, but finally
left in 1947. Throughout this time, the Indian people were being forced to do things that the English
people did not want to do. The Indian people were enslaved by a much more powerful nation. The
main religion of India is Hinduism. This religion is much more complicated than many other religions,
instead of one main god there are many gods. Many things that Indian people do have been altered to
mean other things (mission frontier). There are also people that are called demi gods, who somewhat
have the power of god and are able to use their powers whenever they want to. An example of this is a
man named khans. He had the powers of a god because he had prayed for a very long time, and had
done something else that is not very important. During this time there was a god by the name of
Krishna whose uncle was khans. Khans had become evil through the lust of power and Krishna had to
stop him (Park). This shows just one of the many beliefs of the Hindu people. Many people had gone
to India to show the people what Christianity has to offer and many people reaped the benefits.
According to one Indian resident, many of the people that the Christians tried to help were the poor.

The Pros And Cons Of Israel s Occupation Of Gaza And West...
Little did Israel know that the Six Day War would turn into a fifty year occupation of Gaza and the
West Bank? During this occupation the Israeli Government placed settlement and settlers in the
disputed territory for the purpose of keeping a buffer between Israel and the Palestinians as well as
using the settlements and settlers as a means to keeping Gaza and the West Bank. During 2005 the
Israeli government began removing settlers and turning the land back over to the Palestinian s with the
thought that holding on to it had become too big of a problem and it had become to taxing to the
Israeli government (Monitor, 2015).
With the peace process stalled Israel would best serve its National interests by leaving the settlers and

Mexico, a country full of culture and beauty. However, many have been questioning what kind of
government does Mexico really have. There has been debate over the years if Mexico can be
considered as a Liberal Democracy. One can believe that Mexico can be considered liberal democracy
because their people are not forbidden or restrained from doing many things. Their government treats
them like the government treats people from the United States, they are free to do what they want as
long they follow the law their government has for them. The article From Darkness, Dawn
demonstrates how Mexico is no longer the way it used to be in terms as in economy, population
growth, poverty, and drug war. The author of the article From Darkness, Dawn Tom Wainwright
states, Mexico outpaced Brazilin their economy, Net emigration is down to zero, fertility rate will
soon be lower, Yes there is poverty, but alleviated by services such as universal free health care, and
the failure of rich countries anti drugs policies means that organized crime will not go away. But
Mexico s murder rate is now falling, albeit slowly, for the first time in five years . Wainwright ... Show

Ifrs Synthesis Essay
For nearly half a century, a movement has been underway to establish a high quality, comprehensive
set of international accounting standards, with the goal of facilitating international trade and
investment. In the global capital market, differences in the rules of accounting for the purposes of
recognition, measurement, and reporting of financial results have impaired the smooth transfer of
information across borders. Given that it accounts for nearly a third of the global market, there is
considerable pressure for the United States to conform to the International Financial Reporting
Standards (IFRS), as promulgated by the International Accounting Standards Board (IASB). While

Standardized reporting across firms from different countries would facilitate cross border investment
and the integration of capital markets (Hail, Luzi, et al). According to Beke (2011), Standardization
implies the elimination of alternatives in accounting for representing economic transactions and other
events (Angeloni). In essence, similar events and transactions would be reported in a similar manner,
and vice versa. Having more comparable reports allows firms to make better informed investment
choices due to a better understanding of competing firms, which can lead to cost savings. Moreover,
firms that have more comparable reports can better contract with suppliers and firms in other
countries, and these contracts are more likely to be fully specified and enforceable. Studies also show
that the adoption of IFRS reporting should be associated with an increase in market liquidity, as well
as a decline in firms cost of capital (Hail, Luzi, et al.).
Before delving into the arguments against IFRS adoption, it is important to note that the U.S. economy
and institutional framework have many idiosyncrasies. Hence, even if switching to IFRS proved
beneficial for some countries, it would not necessarily be the same for the United States. To start, the
United States possesses the largest economy in the world, and its public equity market accounts for a

Cognitive Response The environment offers non verbal communication for individuals (Broadbent,
Bunt and Jencks, 1980; Rapoport, 1982 and Bitner, 1992). This view is supported by Ittelson (1973) in
his characterization of environments: ...environment always provide more information than can
possibly aroused....Environment always represent, simultaneously, instances of redundant information,
of inadequate and ambiguous information, and of conflicting and contradictory information (p.75). If a
person is motivated to interact with the environment, this interaction would stimulate a cognitive
response. It is possible for this response to be integrated into a personally meaningful perception
which influences people s beliefs about a place, people and product (Rogers, 1979; Golledge, 1987;
Kaplan and Kaplan, 1982 and Rapoport, 1982). In the retailing literature, there is some support for the
view that store environment can induce cognitive responses which in turn may affect shopping
behavior (Marzuky and Jacoby, 1986; Ward, 1992; Sirgy et al., 2000). Bitner (1992) proposes a
conceptual framework explaining how the store atmosphere influences the approach avoidance
behavior through intervening variables. These intervening variables are emotional response, cognitive

Get Out Jordan Peele
Simultaneously a creepy horror thriller and a witty laugh, Get Out, is the debut feature from actor
turned director Jordan Peele, who also wrote and produced.
Peele was influenced by the 1975 cult classic The Stepford Wives and challenges us with a tale where
a black man gets trapped in a house with a deranged white family. How s this sound?
Peele s script focuses on an apparently harmless relationship between Chris Washington (Daniel
Kaluuya), a young African American photographer and his caring white girlfriend, Rose Armitage
(Allison Williams). They decide to go on a weekend trip to her family s distant estate so he can meet
her parents, Dean (Bradley Whitford) and Missy (Catherine Keener). This invitation makes him

While the former are portrayed as victims, the latter are shaped as artful supremacists and tenacious
manipulators. However, the filmmaker manages to alleviate this idea by infusing wit and irony,
aspects that remove part of the heaviness related to the topic itself, at the same time that enhance the
entertaining values of his work.
Recently, racism has been widely addressed in earnest documentaries (13th, I m Not Your Negro) and
fact based dramas (Hidden Figures, Fences, and A United Kingdom). In contrast to these, Get Out is
entirely fictional and combines genres with aplomb.
Cleverly written, beautifully enacted, and gripping from the first scene to the last, Get Out has all the
ingredients to be remembered in the future as a gem within the comedy horror genre. It s even more
outstanding if we think we re before a directorial debut.
The low budget didn t hamper Peele from assuring strong production values, which include a suitable
and disquieting musical score by Michael Abels, sympathetic photography by Toby Oliver, and solid
special effects by a team composed of Matthew Brady Harris, Tom Wiseman, and Brian

In Tennessee v. Garner in 1985, the U.S. Supreme Court ruled that an officer CANNOT use deadly

years later, the Supreme Court ruled in Graham v. Connor that officers who use force, must be judged
on the totality of circumstances and a standard of objective reasonableness. Force must be judged
from the perspective of a reasonable officer on the scene, rather than with the 20/20 vision of

his pleas that he was having a diabetic reaction. During the encounter, Graham suffered multiple

THE SUFFERING SERVANT OF ISAIAH 52 AND 53
The book of Isaiah provides a message to the nation of Israel and is one of the most powerful books of
prophecy in the Bible. The prophet spoke of events to come that many have attempted to discern.
Scholars, Rabbis and Christian Clergy differ in their interpretations of these passages in Isaiah 52 and
53.
This paper will address these biblical passages in Isaiah 52 and 53, which describes a suffering servant
to the Lord God. There has been a debate as to whether these passages where describing the Messiah
who would come to restore Israel as God s chosen people or if the passage was describing the nation
of Israel as the suffering servant . Christian scholars and clergy view these passages as describing
Jesus who they affirm as the Messiah. The text is written in a poetic form and flows from one subject
to another, however, many view these passages as being extremely detailed prophecy about the
Messiah to come. I will point out key passages and explain how these passages provide clarity about
whom the writer was speaking. This paper will point out why Jesus is the suffering servant , who is
mentioned in Isaiah and explain why the suffering servant is not the nation of Israel as others propose.

My intention with the story I told was to talk on the brief period in former world heavyweight
champion James Douglas s life, circa 1993 1994, where he was indulging after getting a twenty four
million dollar payday for his only championship defense against Evander Holyfield, a fight he lost by

the comatose state he slipped into after the post boxing indulgence saw his weight escalate to four

This is known as reincarnation. So if every thing in the universe, including living creatures, contains
an atman that has the essence of Brahman, Hindus should respect it. There are two stories that
represent this teaching from the Upanishads, which are Hindu scriptures:
A father tells his son to break a fig in half and asks the son what he sees. The son says that he sees
seeds and his father tells him to break one of them and tell him what he sees. The son says nothing.
The father says there is the subtle essence there although it cannot be seen and that the whole universe
is identified by that subtle essence.
The son then asks the father to teach him more. The father told him to place salt in a bowl of water
and come back to him in the morning, and it was done. Next day, the father told the son to find the salt
in the bowl but he couldn t because it had dissolved. The father then told the son to sip the water from
all sides and the son says that he can taste the salt from all areas. The father explains that it is in the

A Traditional Indian Culture And American Culture
Identity and Names
The names we are given are essential in forming our identity. It is the way we are addressed by
everyone starting from birth. It is the beginning of how we define ourselves in our own terms `as a
result of growing up and experiencing life. In Indian culture, from The Namesake, the grandmother
chooses a good name for the child before they are born. Gogol was supposed to be a pet name only
used by family and close friends. For Gogol, his name highlights his differences to everyone else, but
more importantly, himself. He endures a consistent struggle with his two cultures throughout the
novel. He, as a young adult, is searching for acceptance of both his traditional Indian culture and
American culture. The Namesake, explores the theme of identity by examining the differences of both
cultures. He has two names and therefore two identities, Gogol and Nikhil, and throughout the novel
he looks for a way to incorporate them into one whole.
Naming a child following Bengali tradition is extremely different in comparison to American culture.
This highlights the importance of a child finding their own way in their own time, but also allows the
parents to choose the best name. When it comes to naming the child, that honor is given to an elder
relative. There are always two names that a Bengali child will have: a pet name and a good name. In
the case of Gogol the letter containing his names was never received and considered lost. Therefore,

Disney CorporttionÂŽs Negative Influence in Children via...
What started out as cartoon shows such as Mickey Mouse has now changed into a profit driven
corporation. With TV shows, movies, clothing lines, toys, CDs, books, and theme parks, Disney is
creating billions in revenue. However, the profits are at the cost of the youth. One way the youth are
being harmed is children are absorbed in watching television shows that Disney plays daily. The
amount of time spent watching television has increased in the years, while the amount of time spent
playing games outside has decreased. Because of this, health issues in children have risen, especially
in the United States. Also, children begin to idolize the child actors from the shows on Disney such as
Miley Cyrus in Hannah Montana . Although some actresses are good role models, most usually are
not. Child actors are more likely to develop drug addictions, alcohol addictions, and eating disorders

the children who idolize these actors are harmed as well. Therefore, Disney s influence on the youth is

although he didn t hide his motives as he used his original name in Songs of Susannah, he introduced

Like the reader, authors can get lost in their words and find themselves in the shoes of someone they
are fabricating. This recycles their thought process, which ultimately forces them to reword their fears
and doubts in order for the reader to connect with their tone. In a passage of Red Cranes, Choy forms
her character, Mie, to ask questions despite her underlining terror of receiving a scolding in response.
For a young girl in Japan, practicality was the only way to survive, and when Mie voiced her thoughts
of imagining herself on the back of a red crane, flying high in the air (p.4), her mother disregarded her
wild ideas for a young girl (p.13), and in return, told her to focus on her reading and writing. It s a
contrast to the way Sachiko freely thought inside of her mind, holding the dreamer at bay inside of
her. Instead, her silent thoughts were incorporated into the description of her surroundings, where the
air was dreamy and calm with nature s natural light fluttering around her. Both girls are visionaries,
but they are lost in different reveries. While both authors might have experienced the need to love the
world at every single angle, their characters and perhaps the nonfictional result of the writers
themselves found different paths to take at the end of their respective

The Pros And Cons Of Standardized Testing
There is a major controversy over standardized achievement testing that has now called for students,
parents, educators, and communities to become involved. The United States is lacking in education
from a worldwide viewpoint. The United States currently ranks 17th among 50 other global education
systems (Gayathri). If America continues to fall behind, then the educational gap between races will
continue to expand. Is the solution to the United States falling behind globally? It s to increase
standardized tests.
Standardized tests play a major role in education today, whether they are achievement tests measuring
subject specific knowledge or aptitude tests measuring scholastic readiness. The goal of the
assessments is to provide a yardstick to evaluate student performance across state standards.
(Concordia University Portland 2017)
The No Child Left Behind Act and the Common Core State Standards Initiative are prominent
examples of test based accountability policies. The practice has ignited a debate about their
effectiveness and how well this kind of test measures student achievement. (Concordia University

Investigate the Effect of Temperature on Cell Membranes and Membrane Structure
If you read a recipe for cooked beetroot it will usually recommend that you don t remove the outer
skin of the beetroot and don t cut off al the stalk and root if you want to avoid getting lots of red dye in
the cooking water. Beetroot contains red pigments called betalains, located within the cell vacuole.
Normally the pigments can t pass through membranes but they leak out when the beetroot is cooked.
Aim The aim of this practical is to use beetroot to examine the effect of the temperature on cell
membranes and relate the effects observed to membrane structure. To function correctly a cell needs to
be able to control transport across the ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The polar heads lie at both surfaces, the kind of three dimensional enclosed structure shown above can
form. The real shape tends to be globular (minimizing surface to volume ratio), and there are so many
more bipolar molecule pairs than shown here that the radius of curvature lacks the kind of strain and
distortion shown at the corners of this drawing.
A membrane is a phospholipid bilayer studded with proteins, polysaccharides and other sorts of lipids.
This patchwork of molecules is like a mosaic. Because the molecules move about within their
respective layer, the membrane behaves like a fluid. This is why the model is called the Fluid mosaic
model.
There have been many theories as to the nature of the cell membrane.
In 1935 Daniellie and Davson put forward a possible structure, which was widely accepted. Their
model was composed of a double lipid layer coated on each side by protein. They Estimated that the
membrane was so thick, with the introduction of the electron microscope, membranes could be clearly
seen for the first time. Plasma membranes of both animal and plant cells showed a characteristic three
layered
(trilarninar) appearance.
As we apply heat on to the beetroot, this denatures the proteins creating holes in the membrane
allowing pigment to be leeched out.
The denaturing of the proteins incorporated with the added kinetic energy added to the
polysaccharides allows pigment to be

Canada s Flag Carrier And Largest Domestic, U.s. Trans...
Air Canada is Canada s flag carrier and largest domestic, U.S. trans border and international airline
and the largest provider of scheduled passenger services in the Canadian market, the Canada U.S.
trans border market and the international market to and from Canada (Annual Report 2014).
Historically speaking, it was founded in 1937, provides scheduled and charter air transport for
passengers and cargo to 178 destinations worldwide. Canada s national airline originated from the
Canadian federal government s 1936 creation of Trans Canada Airlines (TCA), which began operating
their first transcontinental flight routes in 1938. In 1965, TCA was renamed Air Canada following
government approval. After the deregulation of the Canadian airline ... Show more content on

In terms of financial results, the annual report of both companies show the WestJet is much more
financial healthy than Air Canada. We will look at the ratios for both companies, as financial ratio
analysis provides answers to several questions: is the entity primarily financed by foreign sources of
assets, do the customers pay promptly and in accordance with the contracted agreement, are the
operating costs too high and do they endanger the long term stability and business performance
(VSBDC, 2004 Ćœager, et al. 2012). Ratios are used by outsiders to evaluate the corporation
(earnings/share, P/E ratio) and are used within the corporation to measure such things as efficiency
and effectiveness (Cotts, et al. 2004).
Let s start by looking at Air Canada ratios:
1. Acid Test ratio: FY2014=0.83 FY2013=0.88
2. Current Ratio: FY2014=0.98 FY2013=1.03
3. Return on Equity: FY2014=(0.09) FY2013=(0.01)
4. Debt Ratio: FY2014=110.6% FY2013= 114.8%
In comparison, here are WestJet s ratios:
1. Acid Test ratio: FY2014=1.10 FY2013=0.97
2. Current Ratio: FY2014=1.29 FY2013=1.09
3. Return on Equity: FY2014=0.16 FY2013=0.17
4. Debt Ratio: FY2014=161% FY2013= 161%
Looking at the acid test ratio, we see that WestJet has a ratio of over 1.0 in 2014, which is usually
considered satisfactory (Wood, et al. 2013). Air Canada, in contrast, has posted two straight years
under 1.0, which could hint at some cash flow problems.

Symbolism And Symbolism In Wan Echo Sonnet By Robert Pack
In šAn Echo Sonnetš by Robert Pack, he was able to develop a clear message with his carefully
structured poem. By employing a Shakespearean Sonnet form and a rhyming echo that answers the
question raised by the voice, Pack revealed that the echo was the voiceÂŽs alter ego. Through the use of
structure and other literary elements such as personification, imagery, and symbolism, the author
developed the idea that although one might have insecurities about the future, it is important to take
the šleapš of faith in order to truly be alive.
In the first quatrain, the author starts off with general questions about life that helps characterize the
voice. In the first sentence, the voice wonders if he is able to start from nothingness. This could be an
indication for either low aspiration or being too scared to take any actions for progression. To answer
this, the echo replies with šstartš. In order to progress on this empty page, everyone must start
somewhere and take that one small step. The voice then worries about the outcome of life by
juxtaposing joy and grief. The echo replies that grief is an outcome of life because it is not trying to
conceal the inevitable truth. This introduction presents the voice as being insecure and anxious as he
tries to understand the meaning of life and an echo that is direct.
The next four lines address death with symbolism and personification to establish the idea of not
fearing the unknown future. In line 5, the voice talks about the life cycle

Choose 2 scenes in Twelfth Night and state how you would direct them.
Discuss some of the challenges you might face in directing the play to a modern audience.
Being one of Shakespeare s best romantic comedies, Twelfth Night has been re enacted many a times,
be it during Elizabethan times, or in modern times. Although set in the Elizabethan era, Twelfth Night
has its charms. And indeed, it proves to be relevant and intimate to a modern audience, with its
applicable themes and endearing characters.
In directing a play of such mannerism, one would have to consider many factors affecting the overall
effect of the play, and how it brings forth its true ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
In fact, here, Maria starts to plot against Malvolio, and together this group of friends gang up against
Malvolio, getting back at him for his rudeness towards them. In this scene, it is meant to be light
hearted and retain its essence of comedy and humour, so as to serve as a contrasting scene to the
previous (which was more serious). Hence, this scene should bring forth and emphasize on the
humour, and at the same time, portray a sense of revenge (a serious matter).
Overall, the setting of this scene would be in Olivia s house. In this scene, I would have one small part
of the stage (left to the audience) to be seen as the outside of Olivia s house, and most of the other part
of the stage (right to the audience), the inside of Olivia s house. On the outside, there would be a small
pathway up to Olivia s backdoor. The pathway would be decorated with extravagance, for instance,
roses. Roses symbolises a beautiful outer appearance, but in actual fact, has thorns, which threaten at
the same while (hidden intentions). There should be a simple plant, with morning glory creeping up.
Morning glory represents beauty that only lasts for an instance. All these run concurrently with Olivia
s personality, and how she is wasting her youth, firstly mourning, and secondly, wooing
Cesario (in actual fact, a female). Through the backdoor, Sir Toby and Sir Andrew enter into one the

The Positive Effects Of Globalization And Technology On...
The Positive Effects of Globalization and Technology on Business
Tz Han Chen
ILSC Toronto
Since 2007s, business has been influenced by globalization and technology deeply, and the huge scale
of global market and convinced network service have been built by it. For example, greater frequency
of building different types of new business models was brought about by advanced technology and
global marketing, and the new product or service which is based on these business model improve
quality level of people s life. Even though globalization and technology result in secure problem from
network and the high stress in competition, the trade opportunities, outsourcing jobs and competition
affect raising the scale of global marketing and increasing the quality of people s life.
By the time of raising the scale of the global marketing, the high level of marketing competition and
multinational companies occupying the local marking contribute to decreasing the local companies
profit, and high demand in excellent human resources effects the local companies having little
opportunities to transfer their company to multinational companies and high risk to lose their market.
However, the high competition promotes the improvement of advanced technology and products, and
it brings about the new marketing and job of opportunity. For example, artificial intelligence is one of
the greatest invention in the world. In the past, the word of artificial intelligence only appeared in
science fiction and it mean robots have the human behavior (Future of Life Institute, n.d.), but now it
can easily be found in people s life such as Google s search, IBM s Watson and independent weapon
(Future of Life Institute, n.d.). After artificial intelligence was invented, new companies and an
amount of related job were created, and due to similar business model, these companies promote their
competition to raising the scale of marketing and technology. Thus, the high competition was caused
by globalization and technology.
Besides, multinational companies sell their services and products based on the internet and add their
advertising into the social media to attract current and potential customers. After that, it makes a

Year Of Wonders Anna Quotes
Anna Frith faces more horrific terrors in her life than many warriors in a battle field. Geraldine Brooks
novel Year of Wonders discovers the strength of Anna throughout the year of the bubonic plague in
1666. Anna is seen as a heroic figure that lived through hardship, social challenges, and even death,
making her a central beacon of hope and a charter of great courage even though she is just a serving
girl. The selfishness shown by Colonel Bradford, the thefts of Anna s parents, Josiah and Aphra Bont
and murders of village healers Mem and Anys Gowdie by the grieving mob of villagers all
demonstrate that in times of great adversity some sink to the very base instincts of self interest,
survival and superstition. However, along with Anna, Elinor Mompellion and her husband and towns
rector, Michael Mompellion s resilient efforts they show great courage, compassion and selflessness
that evidently prevails. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Anna herself comes to realise this in a non egotistical way and says that she is a woman who has faced
more terrors than many warriors . Opening in 1665, Brooks begins to outline the events of the plague
year that enabled Anna to shine and become the young woman who has faced the terrors of the mob,
midwifery and mining. Instead of joining the grieving mob who attacked Mem and Anys Gowdie, the
town healers, accusing them of being witches and blaming them for their losses to the plague, Anna
fights with all her strength to bring the crowd to their senses. With her own babies. rotting in the
ground she too could have given in to the superstitions of her time and sought revenge by blaming the
witches but she chose the harder but more reasonable way and was bruised and battered for having

Theme Of Boo Radley s Shoes In To Kill A Mockingbird
Have you ever wished to help someone but you can t? You can t help them because you don t
understand what they are going through. You need to be in their shoes to understand. In To Kill A
Mockingbird, Scout Finch is narrating her childhood from herself as an adult. Her father is involved in
a big trial, as he is defending an African American during the 1930s. Harper Lee shows the theme of
you never really know a man until you stand in their shoes through the characters Boo Radley, Tom
Robinson, and Bob Ewell. The first way Harper Lee shows this theme is through the character of Boo
Radley. Scout is talking about the Radley family, and says, The doors of the Radley house were closed

Tom Robinson is giving his side of the story during the trial. He says, She d call me in, suh. Seemed
like every time I passed by yonder she d have some little somethin for me to do choppin kindlin , totin
water for her (Lee 191). Tom is telling the jury his side of what happened on the night of November
21. He is saying that Mayella called him to help with her chores. He said that every time he passes her
house she always asks him for help with her chores. This proves the theme because we don t know
why Tom decides to help Mayella out. If we were in his shoes we would understand why he decides to
help Mayella out. This theme is also shown when Atticus is telling Aunt Alexandra what happened.
Atticus states, He was running. It was during their exercise period. They said he just broke into a blind
raving charge at the fence and started climbing over (Lee 235). Atticus is sad because of the news that
Tom Robinson has died. He doesn t understand why Tom decided to climb the fence. If Atticus were
in Tom s shoes he might understand Tom s motive for climbing the fence. He would understand that
Tom wants to escape but he is innocent. If Atticus was in Tom s shoes he might understand why Tom
decided to climb over the fence. Atticus would understand the way Tom was feeling when he decided
to climb over the fence. He would also be able to understand why Tom feels the need to help Mayella
with her chores.

Critical Review of a Research Article

Research Issues in Psychology Critical Review of a Research Article Pupils who exhibit gifted
characteristics along with another disability are referred to as ‘twice exceptional students (Morrison,
2001; Nielsen 2002). This term is used in the article that I have chosen to review, which analyses the
responses and perceptions through interview, of one particular individual (Andrew) who was
identified as being gifted and talented (G/T) and who had emotional and behavioural disabilities
(EBD). What the researchers aimed to accomplish through this analysis was a clearer understanding of
Andrew s community and school experiences, as they stated that ... Show more content on

In this study there was no deficit in the amount of data collected by the questions asked by the
researcher, with Andrew providing ‘depth and clarification (p.3) in some replies. The findings that
the researchers identified (p.3) form the next part of my critique. The themes which were found
through analysis of the data compare to other researchers who find that gifted children in particular
suffer from various social vulnerabilities as a result of their special needs (Porter, 1999; Lovecky
1992; Schuler 2003). What strikes me about some of the data is the bias which comes across from
Andrew s reflections. He states, They uprooted me and put me in a classroom because of my
behaviour instead of trying to deal with the behaviour in the classroom (p.3). The researchers analyse
this as being the participant s anger and frustration towards his labelled disabilities. He then goes on to
describe, I don t remember a single thing that we did in there that I considered as being educational
(p.3). Were these statements an actuality of what he would have stated at the time in question, or were
they the result of his ability to reflect from a teacher s perspective? Nevertheless the statements he
makes, which are often quite controversial e.g. We did not learn about math or science that I recall
(p.3), do seem to be conducive to the type of evidence that the researchers may have required to

The Use of the Real Options Theory in
Financial Management and Financial Modeling
Introduction
The presence of real options within any business venture sets up the ability for institutions to pinpoint
the strategic options and opportunities that are embedded in their everyday projects and investments.
In viewing these options and in understanding that each of these has the ability to have a material
impact on both cash flow and risk, it is essential that any company or entity dealing with financial
management fully understand the Real Options Theory, especially in its regard to financial
management and modeling within a business or institution. In understanding the issues that come into
play when the Real Options Theory is utilized, as well as viewing the available literature on the topic,
one can better apply the theory to first hand experiences in the workplace. In doing so, an individual
and financial managers in particular can begin to better understand which applications of the theory
are essential to the workplace in order to maximize total effect and overall profitability. In
understanding these facets, it becomes clear that the Real Options Theory provides financial managers
of any entity that employs it better strategic thinking and tools for financial analysis, therefore
imparting business success in the long run.

All people have needs, however in nursing, most of these needs are physical and/or psychosocial; but spiritual needs are important and should not be overlooked. Since patients do need spiritual care, nurses have a unique opportunity to minister to the needs of their patients. Nurses also may find themselves in a position that calls for them to minister to the family and friends of their patients. There are differing opinions of how nurses should care for their patient s spiritual needs. I will discuss why nursing should include spirituality in their efforts to delivering holistic care to their patients. Keywords: Nurses, Spirituality, Religion, Holistic, Transcendence, Ethics The Role of Spirituality in Health Care Spirituality can be seen in everyday life as well as in the areas of philosophy, literature, sociology, and health care. Many scholastic programs have begun offering courses in spirituality, religion, and health. Many nursing schools have incorporated spirituality and holistic health care into their curriculums. Meeting the spiritual needs of our patients should be as important to health care providers as meeting their physical, mental and emotional needs. Moreover, firms that have more comparable reports can better contract with suppliers and firms in other countries, and these contracts are more likely to be fully specified and enforceable. Studies also show that the adoption of IFRS reporting should be associated with an increase in market liquidity, as well as a decline in firms cost of capital (Hail, Luzi, et al.). Before delving into the arguments against IFRS adoption, it is important to note that the U.S. economy and institutional framework have many idiosyncrasies. Hence, even if switching to IFRS proved beneficial for some countries, it would not necessarily be the same for the United States. Let s start by looking at Air Canada ratios: 1. Acid Test ratio: FY2014=0.83 FY2013=0.88 2. Current Ratio: FY2014=0.98 FY2013=1.03 3. Return on Equity: FY2014=(0.09) FY2013=(0.01) 4. Debt Ratio: FY2014=110.6% FY2013= 114.8% In comparison, here are WestJet s ratios: 1. Acid Test ratio: FY2014=1.10 FY2013=0.97 2. Current Ratio: FY2014=1.29 FY2013=1.09 3. Return on Equity: FY2014=0.16 FY2013=0.17 4. Debt Ratio: FY2014=161% FY2013= 161% Looking at the acid test ratio, we see that WestJet has a ratio of over 1.0 in 2014, which is usually considered satisfactory (Wood, et al. 2013). Air Canada, in contrast, has posted two straight years under 1.0, which could hint at some cash flow problems. The current ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 43. Symbolism And Symbolism In Wan Echo Sonnet By Robert Pack In šAn Echo Sonnetš by Robert Pack, he was able to develop a clear message with his carefully structured poem. By employing a Shakespearean Sonnet form and a rhyming echo that answers the question raised by the voice, Pack revealed that the echo was the voiceÂŽs alter ego. Through the use of structure and other literary elements such as personification, imagery, and symbolism, the author developed the idea that although one might have insecurities about the future, it is important to take the šleapš of faith in order to truly be alive. In the first quatrain, the author starts off with general questions about life that helps characterize the voice. In the first sentence, the voice wonders if he is able to start from nothingness. This could be an indication for either low aspiration or being too scared to take any actions for progression. To answer this, the echo replies with šstartš. In order to progress on this empty page, everyone must start somewhere and take that one small step. The voice then worries about the outcome of life by juxtaposing joy and grief. The echo replies that grief is an outcome of life because it is not trying to conceal the inevitable truth. This introduction presents the voice as being insecure and anxious as he tries to understand the meaning of life and an echo that is direct. The next four lines address death with symbolism and personification to establish the idea of not fearing the unknown future. In line 5, the voice talks about the life cycle ... Choose 2 scenes in Twelfth Night and state how you would direct them Choose 2 scenes in Twelfth Night and state how you would direct them. Discuss some of the challenges you might face in directing the play to a modern audience. Being one of Shakespeare s best romantic comedies, Twelfth Night has been re enacted many a times, be it during Elizabethan times, or in modern times. Although set in the Elizabethan era, Twelfth Night has its charms. And indeed, it proves to be relevant and intimate to a modern audience, with its applicable themes and endearing characters. In directing a play of such mannerism, one would have to consider many factors affecting the overall effect of the play, and how it brings forth its true ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In fact, here, Maria starts to plot against Malvolio, and together this group of friends gang up against Malvolio, getting back at him for his rudeness towards them. In this scene, it is meant to be light hearted and retain its essence of comedy and humour, so as to serve as a contrasting scene to the previous (which was more serious). Hence, this scene should bring forth and emphasize on the humour, and at the same time, portray a sense of revenge (a serious matter). Overall, the setting of this scene would be in Olivia s house. In this scene, I would have one small part of the stage (left to the audience) to be seen as the outside of Olivia s house, and most of the other part of the stage (right to the audience), the inside of Olivia s house. On the outside, there would be a small pathway up to Olivia s backdoor. The pathway would be decorated with extravagance, for instance, roses. Roses symbolises a beautiful outer appearance, but in actual fact, has thorns, which threaten at the same while (hidden intentions). There should be a simple plant, with morning glory creeping up. Morning glory represents beauty that only lasts for an instance. All these run concurrently with Olivia s personality, and how she is wasting her youth, firstly mourning, and secondly, wooing Cesario (in actual fact, a female). Through the backdoor, Sir Toby and Sir Andrew enter into one the rooms ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

This term is used in the article that I have chosen to review, which analyses the responses and perceptions through interview, of one particular individual (Andrew) who was identified as being gifted and talented (G/T) and who had emotional and behavioural disabilities (EBD). What the researchers aimed to accomplish through this analysis was a clearer understanding of Andrew s community and school experiences, as they stated that ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... In this study there was no deficit in the amount of data collected by the questions asked by the researcher, with Andrew providing ‘depth and clarification (p.3) in some replies. The findings that the researchers identified (p.3) form the next part of my critique. The themes which were found through analysis of the data compare to other researchers who find that gifted children in particular suffer from various social vulnerabilities as a result of their special needs (Porter, 1999; Lovecky 1992; Schuler 2003). What strikes me about some of the data is the bias which comes across from Andrew s reflections. He states, They uprooted me and put me in a classroom because of my behaviour instead of trying to deal with the behaviour in the classroom (p.3). The researchers analyse this as being the participant s anger and frustration towards his labelled disabilities. He then goes on to describe, I don t remember a single thing that we did in there that I considered as being educational (p.3). Were these statements an actuality of what he would have stated at the time in question, or were they the result of his ability to reflect from a teacher s perspective? Nevertheless the statements he makes, which are often quite controversial e.g. We did not learn about math or science that I recall (p.3), do seem to be conducive to the type of evidence that the researchers may have required to ...
