3. Basic Mental Preparation
• Mentally prepare yourself for job searching
• Keep in mind your level and Job Nature
• Right job for Right Person (Are You?)
• Job(s) searching sources (Newspapers, Personal contact, Internet etc.)
• Apply Accordingly (Form Formats in newspapers, Fee, Online, CV, Documents)

4. Time is Much Important
• Time is much important for preparation (what you want to be….your
present level)
• Spend your time for learning knowledge and skills (short courses)
• Sometimes Circumstances direct you, any type of job (Start with
lower to higher)
• Look forward for betterment, Don’t stop
• Luck also matter (prayers of parents)

5. CV/ Resume
• Why CV/ Resume
• Is there any difference between CV and Resume?
• A CV is used in academic
and research-oriented job
searches.
• A CV is of flexible length
• A CV is a record of your
academic accomplishments
and credentials.
• A resume is used in business,
non-profit, government and
other types of job searches.
• A resume should be 1 page, 2
pages max.
• A resume is not all-embracing;
it should be targeted to a
particular job in a particular
field.

• Must show to employer, you are best suitable
• Simple and out of crowd
• Add you Bio-data on the top (Name, Address, age, contact, email etc.)
• Career Objective Statement (Optional)
• Represent your education (Top most to bottom, with passing year, dev/grade/GPA etc)
• Experience (Current to previous)
• Skills (Computer, Technical, Communications etc.)
• Achievements (Award, Positions, Distinction, Affiliations etc.)
• References (Optional)
• Your CV will be according to your present level

7. Other Considerations
• Be briefed and concise
• Add only those which you possess
• Check spellings and grammar
• Proper Layout
• Must have evidence which you claimed in CV (Experience, SC)
• You, all have potential of doing all. Be confident….

• What is interview?
• Types (Job, Research, Social, Media)
• Conversation between a job applicant and
representative of an employer for assessment
• Normally unstructured, unexpected what will be asked
• More chances questions will be asked from your CV
• Encouraging/ Discouraging interviewer
• Don’t lose your temperament and passion

9. Tips for Good Interview
• Prepare yourself mentally (Common questions, read your CV)
• Physical preparation (Your first look and impressions)
• Know about the organization, where going for interview
• Reach in time and be calm
• You should have enough knowledge about your field
• Be attentive and answer relevant and positive
• Give detailed answer rather Yes/No

10. Tips for Good Interview…..Cont
• Make eye contacts with interviewer(s)
• Be confident all the time
• Avoid asking salary unless your are asked about
• If gaps in your experience and question is asked, try to
add positive aspects (voluntary work/ learning, courses, up-gradations)
• Should have a clear and sound wish/ reason
• If you are offered job decide promptly OR request short
time to decide (one or two days) and step out happily & elegantly
