Too Much Television On Children And Technology
Adults have been worried about their children watching too much TV since, well, forever. For
decades, Americans had only one or two TVs in their home. Now a single household might have
dozens of them around the home. But the times have changed and in actuality, we are all surrounded
by screens nearly all the time from television, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and video games. The
American Academy of Pediatrics claims that children spend an average of 7 hours a day on what it
terms entertainment media, and that includes TVs, computers, phones, and other electronic devices.
The AAP also says that excessive media use can lead to attention problems, school difficulties, sleep
and eating disorders, and obesity. Are children spending too much time staring at screens? Should
parents limit how much time children spend on technology?
The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Canadian Society of Pediatrics state infants aged 0 2
years should not have any exposure to technology, 3 5 years be restricted to one hour per day, and 6 18
years restricted to 2 hours per day (AAP 2001/13, CPS 2010). Between 0 and 2 years, infant s brains
triple in size, and continue in a state of rapid development to 21 years of age (Christakis 2011). Early
brain development is usually determined by environmental stimuli, or lack thereof. Stimulation to a
developing brain caused by the overexposure to technologies, such as cell phones, internet, tablets,
TV, has been shown to be associated with

Paul Bauumer Quotes
In All quiet on the western front by Erich Maria Remarque, the main character is Paul Baumer. He is a
survivor in the world war I. The first quote explains who Paul is to the war. „We march up, moody or
good tempered soldiers we reach the zone where the front begins and become on the instant human
animals. P. 56. This quote explains that Paul and his group, are soldiers who are trying to reach the
zone, complete their mission and to survive. Paul sheds his soft, gentle, listening self and adopts a
killing, shouting, aggressive demeanor which he continually links to that of a hungry or wounded
animal. The second quote shows how soldier s mission looks like. There were thousands of Kantoreks,
all of whom were convinced that there was only

My Favorite Experience
My childhood was never something that seemed to be a typical boy s childhood. I never watched
sports as kid since the T.V. channel was dictated by my parents so all we watched were shows like
Law Order, CSI, and Fear Factor. I never learned about cars whatsoever and talking about girls always
perplexed me. I never understood how someone could base their feelings about someone based off
physical appearances, but that could just be because I was very pessimistic and was always very
distant of people in general. Video games are something that I loved to play and was something I
thought would a normal guy thing. While I had played video games, they mainly consisted of
Nintendo games which are generally much more docile than games than what most guys played,
which consisted of first person shooter games such as Halo and Call of Duty. This lead to awkward
moments when trying to have conversations with other guys, especially when I was going into high
school. One hot summer afternoon, one that exemplified the extremes that Kansan weather can
produce, exemplified just how bad these conversations could get. Band camp had started up and we
were learning the basics of marching and practicing the music for our show for that year. After a while
of rehearsing our marching drills, we were told to take a water break to prevent dehydration in the
intense heat. These water breaks also served as a chance for everyone to get to know each other
through idle chit chat. Most people stayed in the

Problems of Developing Countries in International Trade
Problems of Developing Countries in International Trade
Developing countries and trade
Introduction:
International trade is an important source of foreign income in almost all developing economies, these
countries are referred to as developing due to their low GDP level and they are faced with high levels
of poverty and unemployment, according to David Ricardo and Adam smith international trade plays a
crucial role in the development of an economy, the Mercantile theory of development states that trade
led to the wealth of nation.
This paper discus the various problems that the developing countries face in international trade and
their effect on the agricultural, industrial and service sectors. Some of these problems are external

Quality and standards:
Developed countries and developing countries tradfe partners set high standards for products exported,
this lead to frequent ban on products produced in developing countries, A good example is the ban on
fish imported from east Africa during Idian Amin reign, the reason was because the dictator had all the
disabled people thrown into lake Victoria and therefore it was unhealthy to import fish from the lake.
From the above example it is clear that developing countries will ban imports due to various reasons,
in the example it was evident that most fish exported from east Africa was tilapia, tilapia fish is a
glazer and fed on sea weed and not meat, however due to the act of the dictator fish imports were
banned for health reasons.
Other products have also been faced with the same problem, example beef from developing countries
where a certain disease outbreak may result into a total ban in the exports of these products even after
health checks on the slaughtered animals. This is a major draw back to the agricultural

How The Cloud Is A Time Consuming And Ultimately...
wanting to send folders and multiple documents this method can become time consuming and
ultimately inefficient. There is an option to zip files when emailing however this only compresses files
to a point, some are still too big. An alternate way to saving on the cloud is using Google Drive, which
in reality, most students at John Paul II (or at least in my year) do not have a lot of experience with, so
generally do not use it. This would be able to securely store larger files. Since we cannot work on
some files within the Google interface it would require the file to be downloaded each time it needs to
be updated on a different computer. This is one disadvantage which is inefficient but as Google
continues to develop more file types may be editable reducing this problem. Personally I prefer the
USB for larger files and transferring files in general. However an issue at our school especially within
the main computing room there are issues with USB s connecting so whenever attempting to transfer
data onto the school computer to work on it there is an uncertainty whether it will successfully connect
or not. The benefits as mentioned above are the USB can transfer large files and load them quickly
when USB is connected. An example of this is when working on the internal assessments for digital
media or digital information. When working on these assignments there is often a main folder
containing many sub folders with multiple files contained within them. This type of data

1 Introduction
Brownfield development is the process of redevelopment on previously developed lands that are
abandoned, closed or underused (Adams, De Sousa Tiesdell, 2010). While some brownfield can be too
contaminated, most brownfields are re useable to create great value once cleaned up. And in this world
of scarce resources, brownfield development becomes crucial as we focus more on sustainability and
resource optimizing. While factors of rising awareness of urban sustainability issues, presence of
derelict/disused urban space and society s rising demand for urban lifestyle promotes brownfield
development, the process to transfer from greenfield development to brownfield development can be
very complicated. In this paper, I will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
The implementation significantly increased the percentage of brownfield development from 50% in
1995 to 60% in 1998 (Adams, 2004). This clearly shows the effectiveness of regulations on
brownfield development. However, DETR (mentioned in Adams, 2004) point out we should not be
overly positive about the apparent statistic results because they might not be 100% reflective of true
facts due to existing loopholes in the structure of the policy. Those loopholes are failure to distinguish
rural and urban brownfield development, failure to leave out conversion of good buildings, and failure
to recognize the economic effects of housing downturn (DETR as mentioned in Adams, 2004).
Generally speaking, location control does promote and increase urban brownfield residential
development. But, attention can easily be distracted (Adams, 2004). This is also consistent with
founding by Adams, De Sousa Tiesdell (2010).
In addition, while location control gave urban brownfield residential development a base start,
permitting certain amounts of compulsory purchase of brownfield sites (Adams, De Sousa Tiesdell,
2010) boosted urban brownfield development. This would be another example of government
promoting brownfield development by making site assembling easier for developer. This course of
action becomes more significant as we get to section 3.
On the other hand, regulations that

Antibacterial Antibiotics And Its Effects On The Growth...
Antibacterial antibiotics are a substance present in fungi, which inhibits the growth and production of
bacterial infections. The discovery of the first antibiotic, penicillin, was a turning point in medical
history, as illnesses that were once perceived as difficult to treat or even fatal, now had a possible
treatment. After the discovery of penicillin, the misuse and overuse of antibiotics become common in
many different professions. This has resulted in bacteria becoming less easily detected due to
structural changes, with some even being multi resistant, such as Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus
aureus (MRSA), Multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) and Vancomycin resistant
Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA) (Williams 2014).
Types of antibiotics
Antibiotics were produced in the late 1940s, with 1950s 1970s being the golden age for discovery of
antibiotics and overall, antibiotics are classed into 17 groups, with penicillin and vancomycin being
two different classes of antibiotics (Zuchora Walske 2013). Williams (2014) states that antibiotics are
classified according the mechanism of action, chemical structure or if of broad or narrow spectrum.
Board spectrum antibiotics are effective against multiple types of bacteria, while narrow spectrum are
only effective against specific, i.e. fewer bacteria. A method of determining antibiotic response to
particular bacterium, as well as its cell wall structure is by Gram staining, which tests the bacteria s
cell wall and its

Women s Roles Over Time
From silent short films of the 19th century to full length films of the 1920s, women have played
important central roles over time. Women have transitioned from submissive conservative roles to
liberal something. A big part of this is due to the view of women changing in history.
The 1800s was a time of, advancement, invention and enterprise in the world of moving images.
Thomas Edison, with the help of his assistants, created and patented the Kinetograph and Kinetoscope
in 1891. These tools later created series of still frames that passed at a continuous rate. Because of the
defect persistence of vision, the average person views a moving image. By 1894, attempts [by
Lumiere Brothers] were made to replicate and improve Edison s Kinetoscope design.
During the mid 1800s, a true woman understood her limitations. This included, modesty,
submissiveness, physical weakness, limited education, and complete devotion to [their] husband. Any
actions that threatened these norms had to be put to a stop. During the late 1800s, there appeared to be
advancements in education and movements for women s rights. Women were challenging the norms to
become more independent. Many women did not want change for the consequences to come. But as
soon as the film industry started, women culture began to reflect roles of main actresses.
In 1984, a dancer named Carmencita was the first female to be in an Edison motion picture.
Carmencita presents a 21 second dance which was later forbidden to

Positive Aspects Of Voluntourism
Vacationers choosing to spend their limited holiday time and vacation budget journeying across the
world to perform volunteer service are a very recent concept. Over the past 15 years, it has grown with
such momentum that both non profit organizations and for profit advisory services and tour operators
are scrambling to match many different agendas. I believe voluntourism is a great way to make you
feel good, and make others happy. For the person who chooses to do this, it is a vacation length
commitment of time, personal energy, possibly a special skill, and money. Motivation of volunteer
vacationers is rarely to accumulate career building credentials or academic credits and kudos. In fact,
many voluntourists deliberately select a project about which they are unapologetically without skill so
they can learn something new. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Though some advocates would prefer to ignore the tourism part of the word, it is key to the definition
because it helps to define the scope and the expectations of what is offered and what is received. With
rare exception, voluntourists pay their own expenses including a built in contribution to the project for
which they sign up. If the experience is positive, they also tend to donate more to the project once they
have made a connection and sometimes even raise funds for it once they get back

Why Was Germany Most Significant Influential Country...
Why was Germany most significant influential country during World Wars even after losing World
War I and World War II?
By:
Kinjal Shah
12TH February 2017
University of Massachusetts Lowell
Abstract:
Germany s Role in both World War had been pivotal and there are several reasons to why that
happened and various facts to support the idea that it had influenced whole of the Europe. Hitler was
appointed chancellor by the President of Weimar republic on 30 January 1933. The Nazi Party then
began to eliminate all political opposition and consolidate its power. Hindenburg died on 2 August
1934, and Hitler became dictator of Germany by merging the powers and offices of the Chancellery
and Presidency. All power was centralized in ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Germany was on with France, Belgium, Luxembourg, Serbia and Russia. This fact proves how
powerful Germany had been to invade all these countries in the same year. Russia on the other hand
was a huge force but still Germany was powerful enough to tackle military combat over Russia.
Germany had been center of war in all of the Europe. But as the World WAR I was ending Germany
lost the war because of the alliance of France, Britain, Russia and Belgium. Germany was then
declared guilty of war and had to pay heavy reparations. (John Mosier (2004), Myths of Great War,
pp.124 127, perennial books, Harper Collins Publications)
Treaty of Versailles:
World War I officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. After strict
enforcement for five years, the French assented to the amendment of important comestibles. Germany
agreed to pay reparations under the Dawes Plan and the Young Plan, but those plans were cancelled in
1932, and Hitler s rise to power and subsequent actions rendered moot the remaining terms of the
treaty. The Allies wrote the treaty, converted between January and June 1919 in Paris, with almost no
participation by the Germans. The negotiations exposed a split between the French, who wanted to
dismember Germany to make it impossible for it to renew war with France, and the British and
Americans, who did not want to create excuses for a new war. The treaty included fifteen parts and

MLA Document Analysis
In my personal opinion, I think it is essential that we use the MLA format. First of all, citations give
credit to authors whose works you have used (whether you quote them or not) [Bailey/Howe Library].
For example, imagine what it would be like to spend months writing an essay that you put all your
effort into this essay is your one and only shot you have to pass English. Someone takes your essay
and hands it in as theirs. It is infuriating and unfair to the writer to have their ideas and effort taken
without credit. Additionally, as stated by Judy Hunter, academics need to be able to trace the
genealogy of ideas [Hunter, 2]. Schools need to be able to figure out how your ideas were created and
developed from the first second you started

Female Characters In Othello Essay
. Examine the female characters in the play. Do they share a common role in Othello? Every woman in
Othello are very important to the plot and drama. Even the premise of Othello is about one man
wanting to destroy another for a Woman. The Woman that Cassio and Roderigo want in the story is
Desdemona, even though she is with Othello. While Desdemona may seem a two dimensional
character, she is takes the initiate several times and is the moral center to the story. She also comes
across as open minded considering that she loved Othello despite him being a different race which was
often a big deal breaker for the time. The other female characters are also important to the story.

She defiantly sees herself as being better than the rest of her family and while she may still love them

one point of view. One could tell that the story would be this way because her actions from the book

We would be able to get a better sense of her jealous for Dee as well as how she felt by Dee not
wanting her to have the quills. Hakim a barber is the least fleshed out character in the story. If we saw
the event from his perspective we would see his first impressions of the family as well as how he feels
about the way Dee acted while they were there.

The Graduate Film Essay
Looking further at the conventions of Classical and Art cinema in the movie The Graduate, it becomes
quite evident that there are elements of both Classical Hollywood cinema and Art cinema in the film.
The movie begins with college graduate Benjamin Braddock, coming back home after finishing his
studies at university. At his graduation party, Benjamin is bombarded by family and friends with
questions concerning his future. Eventually, he retreats to his room for a moment s silence. Mrs.
Robinson then makes an introduction, and asks Benjamin to drive her home. When they arrive at the
Robinson s, Mrs. Robinson invites Benjamin inside and begins to seduce him. This scene sets up the
framework for the first act of the film; eventually Benjamin ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net

Much of the story centers around Benjamin s aimlessness and uncertainty of the future. The
conventions of Art cinema focus on the psychological complexity of its characters, and that is exactly
what The Graduate emphasises; the story relies on the thoughts Benjamin has. The significance of
Benjamin s mindset that is stressed in the film adds depth to the story; without it, the movie would be
aimless without explanation. Benjamin s fear and confusion concerned towards the future, exemplified
through the pool scene, as well as the summertime montage along to the song Sounds of Silence by
Simon and Garfunkel, rings true to audience members. Although some of Benjamin s actions, such as
following Elaine to university, and breaking into the Robinson household to seek out Elaine before she
gets married are seemingly sporadic and contradictory, these actions are all fueled by Benjamin s need
to grasp something, anything, to hold onto, to avoid drifting around without a future. The use of Art
cinema conventions such as editing to show the development in a character s mind, like spinning the
camera in a circle, for example, to show that Benjamin is goalless and wandering, helps the audience
understand as well as empathize with Benjamin. In use of Arthouse convention, the audience can
understand on a deeper level what is happening to Benjamin, and thus can relate to him despite not
always understanding his

Give Me Death Rhetorical Analysis Essay
Virginian politician Patrick Henry, like many of the founding fathers, was concerned by England s
actions preceding the Revolutionary War and decided to voice this concern in arguably one of the
most critical speeches in political history, Give Me Liberty or Give Me Death . Henry used his
political passion and voice to convince the powerful politicians at the Second Virginia Convention that
England was violating its citizen s rights, and if specific measures were not taken, like forming a
militia, the colonies would face imminent danger. Henry s speech was so successful because he crafted
it specifically with his audience in mind. His knowledge of the distinguished men strengthened his
speech because he knew what rhetorical technique would ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
To appeal to them emotionally, he focuses on their pride, something people tend to care highly about.
He likens England s grip on the colonists to slavery, There is no retreat but in submission and slavery!
Our chains are forged! , to make his audience think about how powerless they are to England in that
moment. He implies that England is taking away what they believe should be their free will to govern
on their own behalf (Henry 2). No one wishes to relinquish control of his own life and turn it over to
someone else and therefore this becomes a matter of pride. He urges the men not to allow their voices
to be silences by any form of government. By exclaiming [the chains] clanking may be heard on the
plains of Boston he notes that England is making a public mockery of the colonists, and the whole
country will be aware of their failure if they refuse to stand up for themselves. He again speaks to the
men s pride when he notes They tell us, sir, that we are weak; unable to cope with so formidable an
adversary (Henry 2). He knows the men do not want to appear as such to the people who trust them to
lead, and in making this point he is urging the men to find their inner voice and rise up to reclaim their
power against the tyrannical English

Afj Personality
The Kiersey Temperament Sorter assigned me the personality type ENFJ. The letters stand for
Extrovert, Intuitive, Feeling, and Judging. After my research, I have found out some broad statements
about ENFJs. Scholars describe ENFJs as natural leaders. ENFJs are full of passion and charisma,
naturally attracting and inspiring people. Surprisingly, ENFJ forms only around two percent of the
population. Some scholars describe this two percent simply as Protagonists. Scholars typically
correlate the ENFJ personality type to our world s politicians, coaches and teachers. Most importantly,
ENFJs reach out to inspire others to achieve and do good deeds in the world. ANFJ s must see the

ENFJs have an immense heart for others, almost to a fault. ENFJ s easily reflect on and over analyze
their own feelings, so if they get too caught up in another person s conflict, they immediately blame
the distress on themselves and try to fix everything. True to my personality type, I genuinely care
about motivating people to live their best lives full of happiness. So, my biggest strength is my
selflessness. This is true to an ENFJ personality type that constantly wants to bring people together
and make a better world. The most relatable fact I found about ENFJ s is the weakness of ENFJ s
being too sensitive. I take everything said to me to heart and am always worried if I have met people s
expectations of me. Similarly, ENFJs take too much to heart and constantly worry if they are doing
enough. Because of this anxiety, ENFJs also have a fluctuating self esteem and an indecisive nature.
My self esteem is almost entirely based on how other people are treating me. And every decision is a
massive ordeal because I can t stop thinking about everyone involved and what the want to happen. I
want everyone to get his or her way; I hate the feeling of dissatisfying someone. Also true to me, I
avoid conflict like the plague. I always want to serve the role of peacekeeper in a conflict. I also love
to volunteer and give back, also true to ENFJ. Most everything I found on ENFJ fit me pretty well.

Self Identity In A Raisin In The Sun By Lorraine Hansberry
Self identity is the core of every person. It develops the specifics of personality all the way to the most
detailed physical makeup. Knowing where someone stands in life can change who they are and,
moreover, how they see the things around them. In A Raisin in the Sun by Lorraine Hansberry,
Beneatha Younger struggles to accept her self identity. Her family perceives her as selfish, as
Beneatha talks about having things that she would not be able to even fathom without the help of her
family, but this selfishness is actually her courage to be her own person and ignore what others expect
from her. She finds herself trapped in between wishing and having the educational goals her family
jokes are hobbies. Beneatha s struggle with positive self identity leads her to disobey the what s

are not seen kindly of her family, as they need to be very careful of money but Beneatha requires
things that they can t financially afford (like the horseback riding gear), but she wants to show the
world that she is not just a name. Beneatha argues that people need to express themselves (Hansberry

Hannibal Lecter Villain
Hannibal Lecter was the most feared psychopath created by Thomas Harris. Prior to the release of The
Silence of The Lamb America thought he was another fictional character. After viewing the movie
they began to realize Hannibal Lecter was based off Doctor Alfredo Balli Travino. Travino was
convicted and sentenced to death for the manslaughter of his gay lover Rangel. The crime of passion
included Travino slicing his neck and draining his blood and methodically chopping Rangel s body
into pieces and shoving him into a box. Later he drove to a relative s farm where he and a farm hand
buried the box. Upon the discovery of the oddly marked grave, by another worker, the police were
informed. They went undercover to Travino s practice and arrested him. Immoral actions are not only
in the real world, they are also depicted into novels. From fairy tales to love stories there is always a

because they are trying to make a name for themselves or impress their peers, but because it is the
right thing to do. A person with moral courage stands up in the face of adversity. There are many
examples of moral courage throughout the history of our country. Certainly, we would think that
Abraham Lincoln was a man of moral courage. He was the leader of our country, and took a stance on
slavery that was not popular to everybody. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
This made her more than a match for her brothers and sisters. She didn t think sickness of any kind

One time she wrote that it felt strange to be left completely out of sight. Other times she wrote that she
would be punished for doing things that her brothers and sisters did, and got away with. Even though
Elizabeth Blackwell was a good student, she finished her formal schooling in June of 1836, she did
not shine at social gatherings like her sisters did. She wrote in her journal that she was afraid that she

that a hermit s life was better suited for her. There was one activity that Elizabeth poured her heart and

Tips on Looking for the Best Tactical Flashlight
h3 Streamlight 69260 TLR 1 HL High Lumen Rail Mounted Tactical Light /h3
The Streamlight 69260 TLR 1 HL Rail Mounted Tactical Light is a compact and lightweight flashlight
that fits easily on many different firearms, but it may be the best tactical flashlight choice for those
with handguns due to its small size and weight. This particular light is made of anodized aircraft
aluminum, which allows it to be both light weight and very durable.
This tactical flashlight is praised for its extremely high brightness, allowing it to easily cut through
even the harshest of darkness in emergency situations. This brightness is achieved through the use of
numerous powerful LED lights that deliver 630 lumens of light, which is more than bright enough to
blind or stun enemies if needed.
Traditional batteries are the power source of choice for the Streamlight 69260, and the average battery
life is about and hour and 15 minutes of continuous use.
While there are many benefits to this light, you should always keep the negatives in mind when
searching for the best tactical flashlight. The most common complaint is that, despite the fact that
LED lights run cooler than incandescent bulbs, the light gets incredibly hot when active for more than
a few minutes. The heat is also not contained to the glass or front of the light. The entire unit heats up
extremely quickly. This may not seem like a major problem since the light is not meant to be hand
held, but users could end up burning their

History Development and Construction of a Classical Guitar
Carry out study of a Classical Guitar and write a report on its history, development and construction.
The classical guitar, sometimes called the Spanish or nylon strung guitar, consists of a hollow body
made with a top, back and sides constructed from thin pieces of wood carved and shaped to give the
familiar traditional figure of eight shape. A long narrow piece of wood, called the neck, is attached to
the body at one end and has, at the other end, a headstock to which are attached six tuning pegs, each
holds one of six nylon strings which it is able to tighten or loosen, for tuning the guitar. The six nylon
strings pass over the nut, a piece of bone inserted at the end of the neck to support the strings, along
the neck and are ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
They are usually either Western Red Cedar obtained from the West Coasts of the USA and Canada or
Spruce sourced from many countries throughout Europe (The Art and Craft of Making Classical
Guitars, page 69).
The top plate, cut to the traditional figure of eight shape, needs to be as thin as possible to allow it
vibrate freely, a thickness of between two and three millimetres is used (Guitarmaking, tradition and
technology, page104). Because it is a softwood it needs to be able to withstand the pressures exerted
on it by the strings and this is done by adding bracing. These are thin wooden struts, made from the
same wood as the top plate, glued to the underside in a fan shape (see Figure 2), this bracing not only
adds strength but it also controls the way it vibrates and therefore has a big effect on the final sound. A
sound hole is cut into the top plate, in a position where it will intersect the end of the fret board at the
nineteenth fret. A piece of binding is added around the inside of the sound hole (called a rosette)
primarily to keep moisture out from the cut edge, although it has become very decorative and its
design can often identify the luthier (Harry Miller interview, September 1st 2011).
The neck, which needs to remain absolutely straight whilst under the pull of the strings, is constructed
from mahogany, a dense strong

The Role Of Minos In Dante s Inferno
Dante s Inferno is a great poem because of the allegorical aspects that Dante puts into this story. A
large aspect of this allegory is the guardians of the different parts of hell. These guardians are used to
describe the punishments administered in the different levels of hell. Minos the guardian of Circle two
guards the lustful. Minos administers the punishments to the sinners making him play the role of an
accuser. The sinner s bodies confess their sins, and they know all about themselves, but it is too late to
repent. Minos is used to stress because the sinners cannot deny the sins they committed which is
torture to them. The lustful are taken away by their passions from their lives before, and they are
tossed about by a wind. Dante considers lust to be the worst, because it s mutually committed by both
people. ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...

He cannot do his job when something to eat is offered even dirt. The sin is a dark one, because the

gluttony as something dark and twisted. Gluttons are alone because they ate alone, and they are sad

The Treaty Of Versailles And Its Effect On The World War I
The Treaty of Versailles
The Treaty of Versailles was a treaty signed between Germany and the Allies which consisted of
Britain, France and America. The idea of the Treaty was to end World War one and Germany would be
too weak to start another war. This meant that there would be peace throughout Europe for a long time
but it was controversial at best. It was signed in the Versailles palace which was large enough for
hundreds of people to be involved in the signing on 28th of June 1919. Germany had almost no say in
what was put into the treaty but they had no choice but to sign it otherwise they would be invaded by
the Allies. Its 15 parts and 440 articles reassigned German boundaries and assigned liability for

Along with the reduction of men, Germany was not allowed tanks, submarines or military aircraft and
the navy could only have six battleships (Mr Hinds History; what were the main Terms of the
Versailles Treaty 2016). This was created so that Germany would not have the force to declare war but
still had the power to stop communism from getting into Western Europe. Another aspect to the Treaty
of Versailles were the economic terms. These terms stated that Germany had to pay 6.6 billion dollars
back to the allies. Germany was not able to pay this amount of money so they had to borrow money
from nearby countries. This meant that Germany fell into huge amounts of debt and lost their title for
second most economically advanced country in the world.
There were two more important Terms for The Treaty of Versailles, they were the General terms and
the territorial terms. There were three important general clauses to the treaty. The first was that
Germany had to take all responsibility for the war, this was called the War Guilt Clause and it was the
term that Germany was the most upset about. The second was that Germany had to pay for all war
damages which was mostly to France and Belgium. The third was that a League of Nations was set up
to keep world peace and Germany was not allowed to join. There were also the territorial terms of the
treaty where Germany had to give up

The Atomic Bombings Of Hiroshima And Nagasaki
It has been seventy years since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the end of the
Second World War in the Pacific Theatre. However, the unconditional surrender that was favored by
the Allies was only accepted by Japan after the Soviet Union entry into the Greater East Asia War and
the nuclear devastation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It is a common myth in the Western world that the
nuclear bombs Little Boy and Fat Man caused Japan to surrender and in turn saved the lives of
thousands of American soldiers that were about to embark upon Operation Downfall, the invasion of
Japan. However, decades after the war the idea that the nuclear bombing of Japan was a military
necessity is not taken at face value as it once was. Any historian who would explore the situation in
the Pacific theater will find that most of the actions taken by the warring nations during the end were
in reality very political in nature. This means that the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki
have a political necessity instead of a military one. This political necessity was which nation would
win the surrender of the Japanese Empire. The United States of America and the Soviet Union were
racing each other for the surrender of Japan for different reasons. The Soviets wanted to make sure
that their prize promised to them at the Yalta Conference would be upheld. On the other hand the
Americans wanted to win Japan s surrender before the Soviets could launch an invasion on Japanese

The Effect Of Gmms On Study Medication Adherence Has...
Our systematic review demonstrates that the use of GMMs to study medication adherence has
increased considerably in the past few years, with no studies having been conducted prior to 2010.
This is likely a reflection of the fact that GMMs are a relatively newer statistical technique. For
instance, Nagin first introduced GBTMs in 1999, and Muthén introduced GMMs in 2001.23, 24,
According to a literature search conducted by Nagin and Odgers, a small, but rapidly developing
clinical literature base has emerged since these models were first proposed from 2000 to 2008,
applications of these methods to clinical studies increased from 8 to 80 publications per year.25 Thus,
it is perhaps unsurprising, that increased familiarity through application in other clinical areas, led to
eventual adoption and popularization of the technique in studying medication adherence. GMMs (and
their GBTM counterparts) provide a sophisticated statistical method by which to capture the
heterogeneity within a given population, and often map onto how many researchers conceptualize
growth, in that, different types of individuals likely exhibit different trajectories of behavior. Given the
rapid adoption and application of such models within the clinical literature, and the fact that this
modeling technique is relatively novel, it stands to reason that there may be certain methodological
nuances which have been overlooked or ignored by researchers. Our review reveals several
problematic issues related to

The Importance Of Self-Agency
You are given a first day of school questionnaire for the teacher to get to know you; how much of your
answers are the real deal, and how much of it is tailored to put you in the teacher s good books? Upon
asking this question the next thought could be; what or who defines what the real answer is or the
fabricated one, and does it matter which ones we choose to write down? The long debated questions
surrounding the extent of self agency have been explored through literature and other mediums for
decades, specifically with rebellious characters like Edna in Kate Chopin s The Awakening, essays by
psychologists like Paul Bloom expanding on the idea of more than one self in, First Person Plural, and
self reflective pieces on adulthood like Sandra Loh s, On Being a Bad Mother. Through the
assessment of a variety of work of this nature, it is logical to conclude that we are neither completely
governed by our external circumstances, nor are we in full control of ourselves; instead we must
acknowledge the multiple facets of who we are, recognize the different repercussions of suppressing
some of those facets, and finally strive to find a balance between our internal and external locus of
control. For convenience s sake, the average person has thought of themselves as precisely that
themselves; but what if we didn t? The notion that we are comprised of one entity has been accepted

The Re-birth, Revolt, and Removal of the Cherokee Essay
The Re birth, Revolt, and Removal of the Cherokee
The Cherokee were forced into giving up most of their land in the eighteenth century. Through
fraudulent treaties and unjust deals the Cherokee lost close to all of their land during this time. One of
the biggest loses coming from Henderson s Purchase , in Kentucky, 1775. In an effort to stop the
complete takeover of all Indian land, the Cherokees go through a transformation in order to survive in
a new world. The great Cherokee renascence of 1794 1833 was the re birth of that people in the image

and began competing with American traders, instead of having to rely on their goods to survive. Their
newfound education also helped in their ability to reason, and bargain. Another important aspect in
this renascence, that affected Indian education, was the emergence of mixed blood Indians. The mixed

They adopted many European customs while outlining American way of life, such as, a representative

Essay on Jeffersonian Vs. Jacksonian Democracy in the US
How might we distinguish Jacksonian democracy from Jeffersonian democracy ?
A period of nearly 30 years are associated with the Presidency of Jefferson, his successors and his
democracy from 1801 until Andrew Jackson s election in 1828. A vision of a united, equal America,
limited government and natural aristocracy ruled the Jeffersonian style of democracy. However, with
the election of Andrew Jackson in 1828, a new form of democracy, differentiating in multiply ways to
the Jeffersonian America, engulfed the American political and social scene. Jacksonian Democracy, a

Glenn E. Hoover submits a slightly different approach, suggesting that Jefferson was not a supporter
of elitism but instead he recognized that there was among men, a natural aristocracy of ability.
However, these differences...did not justify any unequal treatment . Therefore, it can be seen that
Jeffersonian democracy did not favour the privileged but recognised their existence within society,
acknowledging the ability for people to transcend social classes through their own efforts.
Jackson conversely championed, as Edward Pessen put it, the common white man and was distrustful
of the Jeffersonian natural aristocracy. Jackson was known to have had a simple rural background, the
first president to be known by a nickname and the first President to have achieved the most prestigious
office in America without rising through high office at Washington. All these factors strengthened the
idea that his democracy favoured the common man, something the Jeffersonian could not claim. To
Jacksonians, the country s future lay in the hands of the common white man, an idea supported

Analyzing 50 s And 60s American Society Through Music
Analyzing 50 s and 60s American society through music
The two songs that I am going to analyze Is Nina Simone To Be Young, Gifted and Black, and Gil
Scott Heron Whitey on the Moon . I will view both of these songs in terms of there contributions to
the counter hegemonic force fighting against the dominant white supremacist ideology that was
prevalent during the 50 s and 60 s.
To give some quick context about Nina Simone, she was a genuine musical artist who routinely
recorded music that ranged across tunes from all genres. The greatest of these was To Be Young,
Gifted and Black, which Simone composed with her new protégé Weldon Irvine, a youthful jazz artist
and arranger of musicals, whose frightful verses paid tribute to the late civil rights activist Lorraine
Hansberry, who fought bravely for the rights of all Americans before her unfourtanate death. Nina
Simone had noticed that the moral of black Americans was destroyed by the way that the dominant
ideology of white supremacy which had successfully sold the idea that all races that were not White
were inferior, low class citizens who should accept there roles and deal with it. She acted as a counter
hegemonic force that challenged the way blacks were thought to view themselves for what they really
are, valuable, talented, and gifted human beings just like the Anglos were. Gil Scott Heron sang the

horrifying as someone shooting down innocent children playing at recesses on school grounds was

particular incident unfortunately was not the slaughter of people, but it was children. It happened
around 11:40 AM on January 17th, 1989 in Stockton, California. A man by the name of Patrick

Neighborly Relations Has Decline In The United States...
According to the Chicago Tribune, Neighborly relations have declined in the U.S. since the 1950s.
Some 28 percent of us know none of our neighbors names, particularly pervasive among younger and
lower income people, (Mildenstein). Why is it that our society has become less neighborly? In our
society today, people are caught up in themselves and do not like to connect personally or physically
with their neighbors. Because of this, they do not take the time out of their day to meet or socialize
with their neighbors. Since the 1950s, our societies values and morals have changed dramatically. We
now have the whole world at our fingertips, and feel like we do not need the physical presence of
people in our lives. Consequently, good neighbors have become extremely hard to come by. However,

Theme Of Loss Of Innocence In Frankenstein
As people gain new experiences different losses of innocence come along with that, this is shown in
Mary Shelley s Frankenstein. Throughout the book innocence plays a big role in the characterization
of Frankenstein, the monster and most of the other characters in the book. But, as tragedies in the book
occur they also symbolize losses of innocence in both the monster and Frankenstein. As these losses of

  • 2. Too Much Television On Children And Technology Adults have been worried about their children watching too much TV since, well, forever. For decades, Americans had only one or two TVs in their home. Now a single household might have dozens of them around the home. But the times have changed and in actuality, we are all surrounded by screens nearly all the time from television, laptops, tablets, smartphones, and video games. The American Academy of Pediatrics claims that children spend an average of 7 hours a day on what it terms entertainment media, and that includes TVs, computers, phones, and other electronic devices. The AAP also says that excessive media use can lead to attention problems, school difficulties, sleep and eating disorders, and obesity. Are children spending too much time staring at screens? Should parents limit how much time children spend on technology? The American Academy of Pediatrics and the Canadian Society of Pediatrics state infants aged 0 2 years should not have any exposure to technology, 3 5 years be restricted to one hour per day, and 6 18 years restricted to 2 hours per day (AAP 2001/13, CPS 2010). Between 0 and 2 years, infant s brains triple in size, and continue in a state of rapid development to 21 years of age (Christakis 2011). Early brain development is usually determined by environmental stimuli, or lack thereof. Stimulation to a developing brain caused by the overexposure to technologies, such as cell phones, internet, tablets, TV, has been shown to be associated with ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

The first quote explains who Paul is to the war. „We march up, moody or good tempered soldiers we reach the zone where the front begins and become on the instant human animals. P. 56. This quote explains that Paul and his group, are soldiers who are trying to reach the zone, complete their mission and to survive. Paul sheds his soft, gentle, listening self and adopts a killing, shouting, aggressive demeanor which he continually links to that of a hungry or wounded animal. The second quote shows how soldier s mission looks like. There were thousands of Kantoreks, all of whom were convinced that there was only ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 4. My Favorite Experience My childhood was never something that seemed to be a typical boy s childhood. I never watched sports as kid since the T.V. channel was dictated by my parents so all we watched were shows like Law Order, CSI, and Fear Factor. I never learned about cars whatsoever and talking about girls always perplexed me. I never understood how someone could base their feelings about someone based off physical appearances, but that could just be because I was very pessimistic and was always very distant of people in general. Video games are something that I loved to play and was something I thought would a normal guy thing. While I had played video games, they mainly consisted of Nintendo games which are generally much more docile than games than what most guys played, which consisted of first person shooter games such as Halo and Call of Duty. This lead to awkward moments when trying to have conversations with other guys, especially when I was going into high school. One hot summer afternoon, one that exemplified the extremes that Kansan weather can produce, exemplified just how bad these conversations could get. Band camp had started up and we were learning the basics of marching and practicing the music for our show for that year. After a while of rehearsing our marching drills, we were told to take a water break to prevent dehydration in the intense heat. These water breaks also served as a chance for everyone to get to know each other through idle chit chat. Most people stayed in the ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Quality and standards: Developed countries and developing countries tradfe partners set high standards for products exported, this lead to frequent ban on products produced in developing countries, A good example is the ban on fish imported from east Africa during Idian Amin reign, the reason was because the dictator had all the disabled people thrown into lake Victoria and therefore it was unhealthy to import fish from the lake. From the above example it is clear that developing countries will ban imports due to various reasons, in the example it was evident that most fish exported from east Africa was tilapia, tilapia fish is a glazer and fed on sea weed and not meat, however due to the act of the dictator fish imports were banned for health reasons. Other products have also been faced with the same problem, example beef from developing countries where a certain disease outbreak may result into a total ban in the exports of these products even after health checks on the slaughtered animals. • 6. How The Cloud Is A Time Consuming And Ultimately... wanting to send folders and multiple documents this method can become time consuming and ultimately inefficient. There is an option to zip files when emailing however this only compresses files to a point, some are still too big. An alternate way to saving on the cloud is using Google Drive, which in reality, most students at John Paul II (or at least in my year) do not have a lot of experience with, so generally do not use it. This would be able to securely store larger files. Since we cannot work on some files within the Google interface it would require the file to be downloaded each time it needs to be updated on a different computer. This is one disadvantage which is inefficient but as Google continues to develop more file types may be editable reducing this problem. Personally I prefer the USB for larger files and transferring files in general. However an issue at our school especially within the main computing room there are issues with USB s connecting so whenever attempting to transfer data onto the school computer to work on it there is an uncertainty whether it will successfully connect or not. The benefits as mentioned above are the USB can transfer large files and load them quickly when USB is connected. An example of this is when working on the internal assessments for digital media or digital information. When working on these assignments there is often a main folder containing many sub folders with multiple files contained within them. This type of data ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

Impacts of government Regulation, Land Ownership, and... 1 Introduction Brownfield development is the process of redevelopment on previously developed lands that are abandoned, closed or underused (Adams, De Sousa Tiesdell, 2010). While some brownfield can be too contaminated, most brownfields are re useable to create great value once cleaned up. And in this world of scarce resources, brownfield development becomes crucial as we focus more on sustainability and resource optimizing. While factors of rising awareness of urban sustainability issues, presence of derelict/disused urban space and society s rising demand for urban lifestyle promotes brownfield development, the process to transfer from greenfield development to brownfield development can be very complicated. In this paper, I will ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... The implementation significantly increased the percentage of brownfield development from 50% in 1995 to 60% in 1998 (Adams, 2004). This clearly shows the effectiveness of regulations on brownfield development. However, DETR (mentioned in Adams, 2004) point out we should not be overly positive about the apparent statistic results because they might not be 100% reflective of true facts due to existing loopholes in the structure of the policy. Those loopholes are failure to distinguish rural and urban brownfield development, failure to leave out conversion of good buildings, and failure to recognize the economic effects of housing downturn (DETR as mentioned in Adams, 2004). Generally speaking, location control does promote and increase urban brownfield residential development. But, attention can easily be distracted (Adams, 2004). This is also consistent with founding by Adams, De Sousa Tiesdell (2010). In addition, while location control gave urban brownfield residential development a base start, permitting certain amounts of compulsory purchase of brownfield sites (Adams, De Sousa Tiesdell, 2010) boosted urban brownfield development. • 8. Antibacterial Antibiotics And Its Effects On The Growth... Antibacterial antibiotics are a substance present in fungi, which inhibits the growth and production of bacterial infections. The discovery of the first antibiotic, penicillin, was a turning point in medical history, as illnesses that were once perceived as difficult to treat or even fatal, now had a possible treatment. After the discovery of penicillin, the misuse and overuse of antibiotics become common in many different professions. This has resulted in bacteria becoming less easily detected due to structural changes, with some even being multi resistant, such as Methicillin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA), Multidrug resistant tuberculosis (MDR TB) and Vancomycin resistant Staphylococcus aureus (VRSA) (Williams 2014). Types of antibiotics Antibiotics were produced in the late 1940s, with 1950s 1970s being the golden age for discovery of antibiotics and overall, antibiotics are classed into 17 groups, with penicillin and vancomycin being two different classes of antibiotics (Zuchora Walske 2013). Williams (2014) states that antibiotics are classified according the mechanism of action, chemical structure or if of broad or narrow spectrum. Board spectrum antibiotics are effective against multiple types of bacteria, while narrow spectrum are only effective against specific, i.e. fewer bacteria. A method of determining antibiotic response to particular bacterium, as well as its cell wall structure is by Gram staining, which tests the bacteria s cell wall and its ... Women have transitioned from submissive conservative roles to liberal something. A big part of this is due to the view of women changing in history. The 1800s was a time of, advancement, invention and enterprise in the world of moving images. Thomas Edison, with the help of his assistants, created and patented the Kinetograph and Kinetoscope in 1891. These tools later created series of still frames that passed at a continuous rate. Because of the defect persistence of vision, the average person views a moving image. By 1894, attempts [by Lumiere Brothers] were made to replicate and improve Edison s Kinetoscope design. During the mid 1800s, a true woman understood her limitations. This included, modesty, submissiveness, physical weakness, limited education, and complete devotion to [their] husband. Any actions that threatened these norms had to be put to a stop. During the late 1800s, there appeared to be advancements in education and movements for women s rights. Women were challenging the norms to become more independent. Many women did not want change for the consequences to come. By: Kinjal Shah 12TH February 2017 University of Massachusetts Lowell Abstract: Germany s Role in both World War had been pivotal and there are several reasons to why that happened and various facts to support the idea that it had influenced whole of the Europe. Hitler was appointed chancellor by the President of Weimar republic on 30 January 1933. The Nazi Party then began to eliminate all political opposition and consolidate its power. But as the World WAR I was ending Germany lost the war because of the alliance of France, Britain, Russia and Belgium. Germany was then declared guilty of war and had to pay heavy reparations. (John Mosier (2004), Myths of Great War, pp.124 127, perennial books, Harper Collins Publications) Treaty of Versailles: World War I officially ended with the signing of the Treaty of Versailles on June 28, 1919. After strict enforcement for five years, the French assented to the amendment of important comestibles. Germany agreed to pay reparations under the Dawes Plan and the Young Plan, but those plans were cancelled in 1932, and Hitler s rise to power and subsequent actions rendered moot the remaining terms of the treaty. The Allies wrote the treaty, converted between January and June 1919 in Paris, with almost no participation by the Germans. Much of the story centers around Benjamin s aimlessness and uncertainty of the future. The conventions of Art cinema focus on the psychological complexity of its characters, and that is exactly what The Graduate emphasises; the story relies on the thoughts Benjamin has. The significance of Benjamin s mindset that is stressed in the film adds depth to the story; without it, the movie would be aimless without explanation. Benjamin s fear and confusion concerned towards the future, exemplified through the pool scene, as well as the summertime montage along to the song Sounds of Silence by Simon and Garfunkel, rings true to audience members. Although some of Benjamin s actions, such as following Elaine to university, and breaking into the Robinson household to seek out Elaine before she gets married are seemingly sporadic and contradictory, these actions are all fueled by Benjamin s need to grasp something, anything, to hold onto, to avoid drifting around without a future. The use of Art cinema conventions such as editing to show the development in a character s mind, like spinning the camera in a circle, for example, to show that Benjamin is goalless and wandering, helps the audience understand as well as empathize with Benjamin. This particular light is made of anodized aircraft aluminum, which allows it to be both light weight and very durable. This tactical flashlight is praised for its extremely high brightness, allowing it to easily cut through even the harshest of darkness in emergency situations. Minos the guardian of Circle two guards the lustful. Minos administers the punishments to the sinners making him play the role of an accuser. The sinner s bodies confess their sins, and they know all about themselves, but it is too late to repent. Minos is used to stress because the sinners cannot deny the sins they committed which is torture to them. The lustful are taken away by their passions from their lives before, and they are tossed about by a wind. Dante considers lust to be the worst, because it s mutually committed by both people. ... The Treaty Of Versailles And Its Effect On The World War I The Treaty of Versailles The Treaty of Versailles was a treaty signed between Germany and the Allies which consisted of Britain, France and America. The idea of the Treaty was to end World War one and Germany would be too weak to start another war. This meant that there would be peace throughout Europe for a long time but it was controversial at best. It was signed in the Versailles palace which was large enough for hundreds of people to be involved in the signing on 28th of June 1919. Another aspect to the Treaty of Versailles were the economic terms. These terms stated that Germany had to pay 6.6 billion dollars back to the allies. Germany was not able to pay this amount of money so they had to borrow money from nearby countries. This meant that Germany fell into huge amounts of debt and lost their title for second most economically advanced country in the world. • 31. The Atomic Bombings Of Hiroshima And Nagasaki It has been seventy years since the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki and the end of the Second World War in the Pacific Theatre. However, the unconditional surrender that was favored by the Allies was only accepted by Japan after the Soviet Union entry into the Greater East Asia War and the nuclear devastation of Hiroshima and Nagasaki. It is a common myth in the Western world that the nuclear bombs Little Boy and Fat Man caused Japan to surrender and in turn saved the lives of thousands of American soldiers that were about to embark upon Operation Downfall, the invasion of Japan. However, decades after the war the idea that the nuclear bombing of Japan was a military necessity is not taken at face value as it once was. Any historian who would explore the situation in the Pacific theater will find that most of the actions taken by the warring nations during the end were in reality very political in nature. This means that the atomic bombings of Hiroshima and Nagasaki have a political necessity instead of a military one. This political necessity was which nation would win the surrender of the Japanese Empire. The United States of America and the Soviet Union were racing each other for the surrender of Japan for different reasons. • 33. The Effect Of Gmms On Study Medication Adherence Has... Our systematic review demonstrates that the use of GMMs to study medication adherence has increased considerably in the past few years, with no studies having been conducted prior to 2010. This is likely a reflection of the fact that GMMs are a relatively newer statistical technique. For instance, Nagin first introduced GBTMs in 1999, and MuthĂ©n introduced GMMs in 2001.23, 24, According to a literature search conducted by Nagin and Odgers, a small, but rapidly developing clinical literature base has emerged since these models were first proposed from 2000 to 2008, applications of these methods to clinical studies increased from 8 to 80 publications per year.25 Thus, it is perhaps unsurprising, that increased familiarity through application in other clinical areas, led to eventual adoption and popularization of the technique in studying medication adherence. GMMs (and their GBTM counterparts) provide a sophisticated statistical method by which to capture the heterogeneity within a given population, and often map onto how many researchers conceptualize growth, in that, different types of individuals likely exhibit different trajectories of behavior. Given the rapid adoption and application of such models within the clinical literature, and the fact that this modeling technique is relatively novel, it stands to reason that there may be certain methodological nuances which have been overlooked or ignored by researchers. Upon asking this question the next thought could be; what or who defines what the real answer is or the fabricated one, and does it matter which ones we choose to write down? The long debated questions surrounding the extent of self agency have been explored through literature and other mediums for decades, specifically with rebellious characters like Edna in Kate Chopin s The Awakening, essays by psychologists like Paul Bloom expanding on the idea of more than one self in, First Person Plural, and self reflective pieces on adulthood like Sandra Loh s, On Being a Bad Mother. Through the assessment of a variety of work of this nature, it is logical to conclude that we are neither completely governed by our external circumstances, nor are we in full control of ourselves; instead we must acknowledge the multiple facets of who we are, recognize the different repercussions of suppressing some of those facets, and finally strive to find a balance between our internal and external locus of control. The greatest of these was To Be Young, Gifted and Black, which Simone composed with her new protĂ©gĂ© Weldon Irvine, a youthful jazz artist and arranger of musicals, whose frightful verses paid tribute to the late civil rights activist Lorraine Hansberry, who fought bravely for the rights of all Americans before her unfourtanate death. Throughout the book innocence plays a big role in the characterization of Frankenstein, the monster and most of the other characters in the book. But, as tragedies in the book occur they also symbolize losses of innocence in both the monster and Frankenstein. As these losses of innocence occur the reader begins to realize that each of them also seems to symbolize another loss of innocence but one that is just under the surface of literal meanings. One of the common double losses of innocence is all of the deaths that occur in the book. While examining the characterization and the deaths of Elizabeth and Justine, the reader comes to realize that all of those deaths symbolize the loss of innocence. Through these deaths, it is shown that Frankenstein and the monster continued to lose their innocence until it is nonexistent.
