Background
A temperature controller is an indispensable component when processing transmission in optical
fiber in order to acquire accurate results. The optical IC should be operated in a stable environment,
including temperature, fixed construction and no other external interference. Thus, providing a
constant temperature and steady working environment is priority task for the temperature controller.
The controller mentioned in this thesis is required to realize several functions: maintain the metal
which directly connected to the photonic IC chip at 25В°c, and keep this temperature for long
hours. Although this controller is designed for lab use, there are no any power shortage issues for
temperature controller, however due to sustainability, the power supply is expected to be natural
resources.
Further researching is needed on several components to develop the temperature controller and that
will be discussed in the next section. The correct cooler system, microcontroller and LCD are the
major components that need to be selected according to design constraints. The final project will be
low cost and auto tuning which is an automated process based on the temperature gap. This

of the crimes being committed in the country, it was not until the mid 1980s that selective

criminals, is that here is no way to reform them. These offenders will continually commit criminal

INTERPRETATION OF SURVEY RESULTS As part of the requirements in order to complete
this paper, I took three surveys to determine my stand on change itself. I ve known that change is
the only constant thing in life. People change, situations change, and even nature changes. We
have to be prepared for the changes to come around us or we will not be able to make it. In fact,
science itself tells us that those who can adapt most to change will those who survive. In the
survey entitled Are You Tolerant of Change? , I was able to score 66. This score falls on the
moderate level of tolerance for change. But, looking at the number, it s pretty closer to lower
tolerance compared to high level of tolerance. The questions in these survey mostly pertained to
my reaction in work changes. I might say that the result is quite spot on. Although I am quite
moderately tolerant to change, I feel quite uncertain, especially with work changes because I
know for a fact that not all the time, things end up positively for us employees. With all the
economic uncertainties today, you quite never know when you re going to be laid off and that s
quite scary. Still, the results show that I can at least tolerate change and I hope that s enough to get

to, that dinner would be the greatest. Three people I would invite to dinner are Fred Weasley,
Hermoine Granger, and Johnny Depp. These people are some of my greatest idols. This dinner
would be a dream come true, even though I would loveto invite so many more people. Furthermore,
there are so many reasons I would invite these three people.
First of all, Fred Weasley is the 4th youngest child in the Weasley familyin the book/movie series
Harry Potter. He has a twin brother George, (SPOILER ALERT) and he does not survive the
Battle of Hogwarts. I would invite Fred because he is my favorite Weasley, and he is a jokester,
which would make my dinner fun. He is an idol to me because he died laughing and he always
saw the bright side of things. Also, Fred Weasley is not a bad looking man, we would talk about
his life and pranks to pull, plus so many other things. I would love to meet Fred Weasley because

He is an actor who played in Pirates of the Cariabean movies, he was the madhatter in Alice in
Wonderland also. He is famous for acting in many of the director ,Tim Burton, movies. I admire
him for being a great actor who can play almost any role. He has so much expirience and I would
love to ask him about it. Also, he really isn t bad looking for a 50 something year old.
To conclude, these people are three of my favorite people that I would love to know better.

purchase. This could have been caused by a sudden increase in the cost of buying the materials,
or they switched suppliers and had to pay more. The cedar also had an unfavorable price and
efficiency variance, while the plastic had an unfavorable efficiency variance. In order to
improve this, they need to try to stay consistent with their suppliers so that there is less of a
variance. They also need to watch market trends more to see whether people are wanting to buy
bird houses, because if they are, then they should budget a higher number of units sold, or vice
versa. The company also needs to be more efficient on how they use their materials. For example,
the workers need to not use too much or too little cedar when making a bird house, or else... Show
They ended up paying the workers a lot more than they anticipated. They may have had to work
longer hours in order to complete the bird houses, whether it was because they were working too
slowly, or they tasks were to hard to complete in the given time. They could have also made poor
quality bird houses that needed to be rebuilt, which would have made them throw the old one out.
Along with this, the efficiency variance was also unfavorable. This proves that the workers are not
completing their work in an efficient manner. In order to improve this part of the budgeting
process, the managers should talk with the employees about needing to speed up the process of
making the bird houses so they are done on time. The managers may need to rework the setup of
the manufacturing center so that the steps to completing the bird house are one after another. This
would help the workers to work more efficiently, causing the direct labor variance to
