In 2010, a law was placed that required schools to serve up more fruits, vegetables, and whole
grains. The law s strict standards led to schools putting out healthier meals, but cafeterias still
reported losing money. The School Nutrition Association, made up of school cafeteria
administrators, lobbied Congress and demanded more flexibility. The association says that it has
become increasingly difficult to keep paying students in lunchlines. Now, after the Senate
Agriculture Committee voted in support of the compromise plan, schools are hopeful that they will
finally get the flexibility they asked for.

painting closer to Spanish History. The artwork is a painting of the infanata and her attendants.
She has two maids around her, and JosГ© Nieto in the doorway. Behind the infanata there is a
canvas, on the canvas is a picture of Mari BГЎrbola and Nicolasito Pertusato. The infanatas
parents, Philip IV and Mariana de Ulloa, reflections are in the mirror. The artist also includes
himself in the painting, painting a huge canvas. When VelГЎzquez was painting the portrait, he
was trying to paint like the technique called Baroque. This technique is the style used to exaggerate
motion in order to produce drama and tension in paintings, sculptures, literature, dance and music.
He was trying to make a complex and credible composition that would convey a sense of life and
reality. Velazquez limits between reality and painting.. The composition combines unity and variety.
This painting has a specific location, and identified figures, and its a group portrait.
Pablo Picasso made many interpretations of this painting. He has made a series of 58 paintings.
He wasn t trying to create a copy or variation of Velazquez s work, but to create his own unique

different feelings and ideas inside her mind. He changed the face structure of the infanata because
he was trying to show the difficulty it was for her to balance her feelings, emotions, and ideas. The

I Am A College Student
I m a college student on a typical college student s budget, and I moved into my apartment about
a year ago. Let me tell you this, I just now decorated my room. Yes, I spent an entire year staring
at stark white walls, with nothing but last years calendar and my celebrity crush of the moment
hanging o the wall beside my bed. There s nothing inviting about an undecorated room, in fact it
s sort of depressing, and I wouldn t recommend it to anyone. No matter what your budget,
decorating is important and can be done. Here s how I gave my room a personal touch for less
than $100. Like most people the first thing I thought of to decorate my walls with were pictures.
Little did I know how expensive pictures could be. I first looked for framed pictures at discount
retailers like Target, figuring I could get a good deal. Wrong. Even their smaller pictures cost
about $30, and while that isn t really expensive, it was just a tad bit more than I wanted to spend
on one item. I did come across a rather small rectangular picture for $10 in the sale bin at Rite
Aid, and a matching pillar candle for the same price at Kmart, but those items ended up in my
bathroom so they don t count towards the total for my room. The point is, however, that we can t
discriminate against those really cheap shops. To find good pictures for a really low price I
recommend going to unexpected places, such as Rite Aid. Believe it or not, you might just find

Experiment At A Small Midwestern University
Method Participants The participants were 21 (19 female and two male) undergraduate students
enrolled in a general psychology laboratory class at a small Midwestern university. The
participants were selected by convenience sampling, and they received a grade for participating
in and completing the experiment. Each participant completed the experiment, and the
participants were separated into two groups. The first group consisted of 10 participants that
listened to music first, whereas the second group consisted of 11 participants that conversed

At the moment of impact, my mind and body were immediately paralyzed by fear. A million
thoughts rushed through my head. Did this really just happen? Was I seriously injured? Were

has become established knowledge, since it has been a never ending goal to bring the wolves back
and help them flourish as they did in the early nineteenth century (Coleman, 2004). I do think
that instead of exterminating the wolf in Durham, we should find it, if it exists, and add a
tracking device. It would be a huge stepping stone in the study of this animal. This could enhance
our knowledge on the species and may even help us form an idea on how to successfully
repopulate the states with the species. Instead of the dark and biased article against the big bad
wolf, this piece should take its place. The negative feelings addressed in the article need to be
replaced with positive feelings because this would be a huge accomplishment for us if it was in

The Landlady is an eerie short story written by Roald Dahl about Billy Weaver, a young
businessman who finds himself in a potentially fatal situation when he stays at a Bed and Breakfast
in Bath, England. The Landlady of this boardinghouse is exceedingly creepy throughout the plot
toward Billy, making the reader wonder what she is planning. This story was then made into an
equally strange short film. During the making of this film, the producers chose to leave out a
certain scene. In the beginning of the written story, Billy discovers the Bed and Breakfastand peers
in the window. Inside, he sees many positive signs such as pets, a fire burning in the hearth, and
pleasant furniture. To end the scene, Mr. Weaver feels compelled by these qualities in the
boardinghouse to walk up to the door and knock, which is when the Landlady swiftly answers. I

When Billy looks in the Bed and Breakfast window, that shows a side of his personality. Billy
Weaver is a curious and anxious individual, which becomes obvious through this piece of the
story. This scene also gives the reader an understanding of the landlady s character. It shows how
she is welcoming and warm towards her guests based on the objects Billy sees in the house. This
part that the film excluded also foreshadows that Billy will most likely choose the Bed and
Breakfast due to the things he notices through the window. The scene was very important to
characterization within the story and an indication of what will happen later
