Finland... Population: 5,255,695  Internet Users: 4,480,900 (85.3% of Population) Facebook Users: 1,881,180 (35.8% of Population)
Enterprise Usage 68 per cent of enterprises were connected via mobile broadband in spring 2010.  58 per cent of enterprises had a mobile broadband connection with a laptop  56 per cent with a mobile phone This data were collected with an inquiry in spring 2010 and they apply to enterprises with at least ten employees
Mobile broadband connection, proportion of enterprises employing at least ten persons
Mobile Broadband Mobile broadband connection is clearly more common in larger than smaller enterprises This was the case for 93 per cent of enterprises in the largest size category Smallest enterprises with 10 to 19 employees was 58 per cent Mobile broadband was the most commonly used in the sector of information and communication (95%) and the least commonly in accommodation and food service activities (49%), construction (51%) and retail trade (52%)
Fixed Broadband A fixed network broadband connection was used by as many as 93 per cent of enterprises 90 per cent of those in the smallest size category  When both fixed and mobile broadband is taken into account, 96 per cent of enterprises have a broadband connection
Websites and Selling Internet websites have become ever more common 87 per cent of enterprises have their own website Smallest size category 81 per cent have a website. 15 per cent of enterprises sold their products on the Internet  The majority of the value of Internet sales, 81 per cent, came from trade between enterprises.

Household Connection In February 2006,62 per cent of households in Finland were connected to the Internet. In four cases out of five the connection was broadband There were over 1.2 million broadband connections to households 7th highest broadband connection rate in the EU Source: Statistics Finland's new publication ”Information Society Statistics” 2006
Paraguay Population: 6,348,917 Internet Users: 530,300 (7.8% of the population)
Information In 1995, the Paraguayan government liberalized the mobile and Internet segments to encourage the entry of new competitors into the market Failure to adequately encourage broadband growth has led to a very low broadband penetration rate  Paraguay has one of the lowest Internet and broadband penetration rates in South America By December 2008, Internet penetration was 1.67 per cent and broadband penetration was 1.5 per cent  Most ADSL services offer download speeds of between 64 Kbps and 1024 Kbps and barely make it over the minimum speed threshold for true broadband services
Mobile Broadband Due to the patchy fixed-line infrastructure in the region, operators in this market were left with virtually no other choice but to use wireless technology In contrast to the broadband sector, Paraguay’s mobile sector is far more dynamic
