Because sulking is the revenge of the powerless
Creatives thrive on praise
A lump of yellow wood can be an amazing motivator
The best Creatives are fussy - people with strong personal tastes
We don’t always do what we’re told, and that’s good. Conformity is the enemy of creativity.
We have short attention spans. But you know what? So do consumers.
Over-sensitive? Absolutely. Much of our work is personal, even autobiographical. Please critique sensitively.
We need feeding. Creatives don’t have expense accounts.
We love images

We’re naturally competitive. Don’t make us work cooperatively, or in brainstorms…
We like fun environments
Don’t move your business to Canary Wharf
Make tasks fun and we’ll work all day and all night
Harness our ‘childishness’…  and we can create real business success.
