News Feed is the way to keep up with people in your life. It displays status
updates, links, photos and app activity from your friends and the people
you’re subscribed to. You can sort your News Feed to show either most recent
stories or highlighted stories.

Groups make it easy to build a space for important groups of people in your
life—your family, your soccer team, your book club. You can customize the
privacy settings for each group you create to control who can see the group’s

4. Messages
Messages enables people to quickly and easy communicate with each other on
Facebook. A core feature of Facebook since 2004, Facebook Messages evolved
in November 2010 to enable people to send and receive SMS, chat, email or
Messages all in the same place.
Facebook provides an @facebook.com email address for anyone who wants
one.

5. Pages
Facebook Pages are public profiles that enable artists, public figures,
businesses, brands, organizations or charities to create a presence and engage
with people on Facebook.
Page owners can connect with people by posting updates, answering
questions or receiving feedback. When people Like a Page, they see stories
published by the Page owner in their News Feeds. In addition, when people
Like or Comment on Page posts, that action may be shared with their friends,
increasing the Page’s exposure and engagement.
At the end of 2011, there were more than 37 million Pages with ten or more
likes.

6. Video Calling
With Video Calling, you can call your friends right from Facebook. Built in

Subscribe
Subscribe is a simple way to broaden your conversation on Facebook. The
Subscribe button lets you hear from journalists, celebrities, political figures,
and other people you’re subscribed to. You can also choose to allow others to
subscribe to you, which means anyone can receive your public updates in
their News Feed.
In addition, Subscribe enables you to choose what you see in News Feed from
people you’re subscribed to or friends with. For each person, you can choose
to see all game stories, see just photos, limit updates to life events, and more.

8. Subscribe Plugin
The Subscribe plugin for websites gives visitors the option to subscribe to
contributors in one click, allowing people to see the latest stories from their
favorite journalist or blogger.
After clicking the button, people begin seeing those posts in their News Feed.
When you subscribe to people, your friends may see that action in their News
Feeds, increasing the viral distribution of content.
