5. OPAC Search Strategies
STEP 1 :
Click the ‘library’ icon on the LMS
menu bar to go to the Library portal.
Click on the Home icon on the library
menu bar to go the search menu.
6. STEP 2 :
Type the search term in the search
box – the author’s name, title of the
material, subject or keyword. Select
the correct search type –
‘Collaborative working in higher
education : the social academy’.
Press <Enter> to execute the search.
7. STEP 3 :
The search Result screen will
appear. Scan the bibliographic
records for relevant materials.
Click or select the item that you
need.
8. STEP 4 :
Check detail of the item, and note
down the Call Number from the
item record diplayed.
9. STEP 5 :
Locate the item on the shelves
based on the Call Number in the
Library.

(b) Leeza found an interesting website and
she printed the information from the
website and showed it to her tutor during
one of the tutorials. Leeza informed her
tutor that she would want to quote some of
the information in the website to support
some of her point in her assignment. Her
tutor, however, told her that the
information in the website cannot be used
in her assignment.
