9. Workshops Shirlaws GCC offer a variety of workshops that are open to clients and non-clients alike. To quickly gain training in a new skill or to gain ongoing Leadership support (depending upon the workshop chosen). Training workshops of varying duration, outside the office, in which to invest in you, your own skills, your own professional development. To support ongoing coaching. To refresh the skills of Alumni Clients. To network with other clients and acquire thought leadership on business issues (Leadership Program, primarily). Client benefits Rapidly gain new business skills in a specific area – these skills can immediately be put to work back in the office. Program materials related to the workshop. Most paid workshops are one or two days in length.

Interim Placements Shirlaws GCC offer to source interim placements with specific capabilities Fill a capability gap left by someone’s departure To provide clients with capability for which they currently have a need As a stepping stone to a permanent solution To experience a higher calibre of person before committing full time To support the increased capability of the company To help drive the company to the next level of success To manage the cost of hiring expensive full time resource in a more manageable way Client benefits To provide that capability quickly Only a short term commitment Interim placement can refine the specific role and support the recruitment of their full time replacement Duration This depends on the requirements of the ‘employing’ company. It is anticipated that ‘full time’ engagements will last for between 3 and 6 months. We also anticipate that where a company cannot justify a full time engagement, a specific number of days a month will form the basis of the engagement.
