Welcome!
What I will show you is our currently available food options as River View Plaza business professionals. My proposal for a cafeteria to occupy space on the 1st floor. And, some benefits and possible drawbacks of the addition. There is a Q&A section available at the end of my presentation.
As a River View Plaza Business Professionals, our food options are quite limited. We can bring in leftovers from home, usually last nights dinner; take time to drive and get takeout from a restaurant; or resort to a limited vending machine stocked full of sugar, salt and trans fat.
What is the solution to our cycle of reheated leftovers, fast food take-out, or candy bar and chip vending machines? Invite an outside cafeteria company to occupy space on the 1st floor of our building.
Here you see a sample photo of a real cafeteria and a sample of their menu to give an idea of what we can expect from a cafeteria addition. They will even offer dinner service for those employees working late.
Adding a cafeteria to the 1st floor can combine all the best of home cooking with restaurant style ambience for no more than you would normally pay for take out. Best of all, the cafeteria company will assume all start up costs and pay rent, so no out of pocket expense for River View Plaza nor DigiFast.
So, what are the possible drawbacks? Security may be a concern, due to the extra people in and out of the building. It should be minimal since all high security companies already have coded door locks. How about the location? The current break room is already on the 1st floor so there should be minimal concerns in this area also. Is there really no out of pocket expense for DigiFast nor River View Plaza? Yes, there are cafeteria companies that cover all start up costs, including any renovations and inventory. They will also pay rent on the space any space used.
Anyone have any additional questions?
In conclusion, hungry employees who use any of our current options are unsatisfied, grumpy, unproductive employees. But, hungry employees who eat and enjoy our new cafeteria will be happy, healthier, and more productive employees.
