A complex password must meet the following
requirements:
At least 8 characters
Has uppercase, lowercase,
and a number or a symbol.

If you do not have a complex password you
will not be able to sign in to Outlook
Email, and therefore not complete this
mission.

To get to
Outlook
Email go to
The SDHS homepage
Click Online Services
And select
KCS EXCHANGE EMAIL
14. Get in to Outlook Account
The first box
is your full email
address. If your
student number
is 123456 then
you would put
s123456@student.knoxschools.org
15. Get in to Outlook Account
The password is
whatever you set
it to be in Self
Service.
16. Get in to Outlook Account
When you first
successfully login
you will need to
change the
timezone!
17. Get in to Outlook Account
Change the
timezone to
UTC -05:00
Eastern Time
(US & Canada)
18. Get in to Outlook Account
You are now
in to your
account.
Catch up on
your email.
20. Change Your Signature
Choose settings.
Create a signature
for your emails.
Save then click
OUTLOOK at the top
blue bar.
21. Email Teacher
Ask your teacher
for their email.
It will be
firstname.lastname
@knoxschools.org
Emails never have spaces.
Capitalization does not matter
22. Email Teacher
If you need
to add an
attachment
you can try
to drag and
drop it on to
the page or
user the Insert
Button.
Click Send.
