2. We start the day with our Good Morning song.

3. We share some news,

4. and read Star Bear’s diary.

5. Then we do writing.

6. We write in our books,

7. or we do special writing with a parent helper,

8. or we publish one of our stories and share it with the class.

9. We practise our handwriting.

10. Sometimes we skip for fitness.

11. At reading time we read with the teacher in a group.

12. When we are not with the teacher we follow a task board…

13. we read lots of different things like big books,

14. books we have made ourselves,

15. books we have read before,

16. books from our book boxes to parent helpers,

17. books from the library corner,

18. poems in our poem books,

19. and listen to taped story books.

20. Sometimes we do an activity to go with a book that we have read.

21. Sometimes we go to the writing table.

22. In Maths we have been learning about shapes.

23. We made cylinders to make our Spring daffodils.

24. We made shape people using foam shapes and then stickers.

25. We have been learning about road safety with Constable Julie.

26. We have been learning about Pasifika.

27. We do art on our big new art table.

28. On Mondays we go to the library.

29. On Thursdays we go to ICT with Mr Des Forges and use the computers.

30. We also use computers in our classroom.

31. On Fridays we go to Assembly.

32. Then we have Jump Jam.

33. Sometimes we have Junior Assembly and singing…

34. and delicious French lunches!

35. School is Number 1!
