  3. Questions: 7. Please describe in detail the datasets to be used for the GovDala.eu use case and explain who will be providing them. 8. What kind of personalisation (besides rating, commenting) will be provided in the GovData.eu use case. Input from project partners: 7. Please describe in dclail the datasets to be used for the GovDala.eu use came and explain who will be providing them.   Get Letter of Support  Fausto Giunchiglia  (Trento): Does goverment pubishing with local government (Trentino) http://www.dit.unitn.it/~fausto/   Describe the datasets in more detail?   Anja is currently researching more details about the datasets and I will add an extended version of the table to this document later I don't know who Anja is, but here is my input: next to the list in the document here is a list of EC agencies. They all have data and they all have the obligation to make it available. Some are fairly obvious: EU-OSHA, ESHA, EEA http://europa.eu/agencies/community_agencies/index_en.htm   Who will be providing them?   For demonstration reasons we will provide them, but we will also work with EU institutions whereever possible to help them to serve the data themselves. Example: One of the partners, TenForce, is currently doing a project for the ESCO taxonomy from DG EMPL on skills, competences and occupations.  This taxonomy will probably be made available as LOD in Q1 2010. Similarly taxonomies for education, training institutions, job descriptions, ... can be made available and linked. More and more institutions are thinking of making their data available on the web.   We have the real people, so data will be maintained after the project 8. Please describe what kind of personalisation (besides rating, commenting) will be provided in the GovData.eu use case.   We will provide individual views on data (certain point in time, only one source or augementated views merging multiple EU sources, individual mashups)   Also, individual mashups of EU data with data from other data sources (DBpedia, LinkedGeoData, ...).  Information collected about the Datasets by Anja: Eurostat     http://epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu/portal/page/portal/eurostat/home     Provider: Statistical Office of the European Communities    License: http://ec.europa.eu/geninfo/legal_notices_en.htm Reproduction is authorised, provided the source is acknowledged, save where otherwise stated.
