What if we designed applications that worry less about "where you are" and more about "how you are?"
What if we designed applications, systems, services, and devices to create "T.A.S.K"-worthy computing (Trusted, Aware, Safe, and Kind)?
The internet is filled with processes that steal our attention and take us away from our present moment.
In this session we will discover the five ways we can filter information and the three keys that will help us return that as wisdom to consumers.

Move data
Project
Move my information into a
repository where I can see,
search and mine my information.
Reflect
Prioritize what’s important for
me. What are my basic human
needs and how do they relate
to the data I’m creating?
Protect
Categorize my data so it makes
sense and I can see how I
spend my time.
Collect
Collect personal data with little
intervention and live my life.

Judge data
Soft Data
Core Data
Blood results, DNA,
Microbiomes, EEG, ECG
waves.
Hard Data
Biological and environmental
elements that can not be
easily manipulated. Light,
sound, body temperature,
heart rate.
Data that is created to
inform self or shape identity.
Homeostasis
The property of a system in which
variables are regulated so that internal
conditions remain stable and relatively
constant. Examples of homeostasis
include the regulation of temperature
and the balance between acidity and
alkalinity (pH).
Neuroplasticity
Potential that the brain has to
reorganize by creating new neural
pathways to adapt, as it needs. Think of
the neurological changes being made
in the brain as the brain's way of tuning
itself to meet your needs.
Epigenetics
Epigenetic change is a regular and
natural occurrence but can also be
influenced by several factors including
age, the environment/lifestyle, and
disease state.

But why time?
• We live as system clocks.
• The internet is always on.
• There are no days, weeks or
seasons online.
• Life has become on-
demand.
• Time is collapsing away
from the objects, systems
and people we love.

Chronos time – “Your life”
An ordered view of time is the definition of how we experience our existence.
The ability to see your life in order creates a profound sense of direction. Timelines create a meaning for reflection and measurement. Chronos time as the Greek’s saw it defined the
purpose in order for our time and days. Western civilization understand linear time so that we can make sense of events.
