Self-perceived problems:
“The assignments take so long, and they’re tiring”
“Sometimes I run into points where I don’t know what to do, and I
just end up trying a bunch of things to see if they work…
sometimes I get to the point where I think nothing will work.”
“I just feel like the best help sometimes is when I’m forced to

“If I don’t put the time in now, it won’t get done later.”
Potential Roadblock: “There’s no other time to
Has limited time to complete assignments, prefers to know how do these things besides
much he’s going to work on beforehand (in some chunk, time or
progress) late at night, and I need
to get them done.”
Needs:
Know when the work he’s doing isn’t as effective, how much time
he’s going to need to put in to start with (can be an artificially
created time constraint).
