3. Wild Life
The Ainu’s special wild animals are
mostly in Hokkaido. They are brown
bears,foxes,antelopes,arctic
hares,raccoon dogs,and wild boars, and
more!There was a crane that was doing
cool dances,which was popular!

4. food
The Ainu was a kind of people who
doesn’t hunt,instead they plant! The
only thing they hunted is bears. They
thought bears taste so good,that they
couldn’t stop hunting them. Although,the
Ainu felt sorry for the bears. The Ainu
liked to plant fruits and vegetable. They
got the seeds from the foods they eat.

5. Games
The Ainu didn’t discover electricity for along time,so
they played a lot of type of tags. There is a tag where
people who is it has to close there eyes,spin three
times, then try to tag people,and the other people has
to stay high,or else the tagger will say down,and
then that person has to be it. It is really fun!

6. Living
Some Ainu lived in a village near water. The village
were called the kotan. The kotan was small with only
four to seven families in each village.But most of the
Ainu lived in a same type of house as Japanese people.
The lived in a tall apartment building.

7. Clothing
The Ainu made their clothes out of
plants and animals. They used
animal’s skins and feathers to make
lightweight robes and shoes. They used
animal’s furs to make warm clothes. The
most important part of their clothing
was a robe,like the kimonos have.
