2. I did not exactly learn anything
new for this class, but I did have a
very good review on prewriting.

3. The Dreaded
Prewrite
I must admit that I
still find it difficult to
do any kind of
prewriting. It is not
exactly my favorite
step in the writing
process, but it is the
most important one.
Without it, my
writing would be
disorganized,
disjointed, and
overall not very Image Source:

4. What Type Should I Do?
I personally like to use outlining before I write. With
outlining, I am able to get a clear and precise idea of what
I am writing. Outlining also gives me the ability to set up
exactly the content of each paragraph, and allows me to
move them around easily if I wish to.

VI. CONCLUSION:
Reconfirmed Thesis:_________________________________________.
If you use this rough guide and fill in the blanks as you are researching your essay, you will find writing the essay
so simple. You have all you need in front of you. It is researched and organized. All you have to do now is fill in
the blanks with transition words and smooth language.

6. Sounds Too Good To Be True?
If you think that there must be some kind of trick to outlining,
then you would be wrong. It is as simple as having an intro
with a thesis statement, organizing information into
paragraphs, and making sure that you use P.I.E. to make sure
your paragraph structure is correct. If you keep all this in
mind, you will end up finishing ahead of the game.

Great Things!
