3. “Go sit in the dirt”
• After receiving degrees in theology schools
and preaching to massive congregations, Heidi
and Rolland were called to go sit with the poor
and the children in the dirt.
• They moved to Mozambique, the poorest
country in Africa
• They ran an orphanage and hundreds of
children were saved

• Food multiplied
• Blind see, deaf hear, lame walk, drive out
demons
• Forgiveness of those who persecuted and hurt
Heidi and her family
5. “There is always enough”
• After some time in Mozambique, Heidi got “burnt
out” spiritually and physically
• She went to a healing conference in Toronto, and
the Lord told her, "There will always be enough
bread and drink, because I paid the price with my
life. Don't be afraid. Only believe."
• She returned to Mozambique with supernatural
strength.
6. Love them back to life
• Heidi shared stories of
hugging and rocking
sick and dying children
and adults back to life
• Love is not just a
thought or idea
7. No Back-Up Plan
• Heidi’s message is
always one of simplicity
and sincerity
• She has no back-up
plan, meaning that they
have nothing if God
doesn’t show up
• It is not the praise
team, messenger, or
congregation
9. • God doesn’t want missionaries who are in it
for their own glory and ambitions
• God wants “laid down lovers”
• People who will lay down their own agendas
for God’s agenda
• People who will lay down their lives for the
“least of these”
10. • “God told me once, ‘I want you to come up to
the lowest place.’”
